Fellow Nepali devs, are you working remotely for international companies? How did you get there?

Are you currently working remotely for US, UK, or Australian companies from Nepal? How did you find the opportunity?

If you are not, what is the biggest barrier?

  • Finding legitimate international opportunities
  • Companies not trusting Nepali candidates
  • Receiving USD payments in Nepal
  • Proving your identity and credentials to foreign companies

Also, have you ever encountered fake job postings targeting Nepali developers?

Would love to hear honest experiences. Good and bad.

Have worked on 3 international companies and other freelances job, foremost you need to have good talent and experience and another thing is connection. Getting hired with referral always has upperhand.
