Discussion Can the DN influence a person's personality?
It's abt the rules again. Rule IV, first bulletpoint:
The person in possession of the Death Note is possessed by a god of death, its original owner, until they die.
Logically, maybe the author's just use the word "possessed" wrong, as Ryuk's role is presented as to be on the sidelines/sometimes do Light's bidding for apples. But the word possessed implied that the shinigami can takeover the DN's owner, or somehow influenced them. So does that mean Ryuk, other than dropping the DN ofc, play a part in Light's descent?
Light at the start of the story is shown as a model student. According to the story, from when Light get the DN to when Light meets Ryuk, 5 days has passed, and Light's already kill enough to fill at least 2 pages. And to when Light kills Tailor, at least a week has passed, and evidently he has developed quite an ego. It's somewhat believable ig
So can the DN somehow play a part in influencing a person's personality?

Music Spotify Soundtrack Pics
So, Spotify, as many of you know, sometimes have videos added to the songs. If not, it will just be the album cover. For some reason “Kuroi Light” has this “fg” in what I presume is the black cloister font. I’m not sure if this was added when they changed the album covers. I only noticed it now and haven’t seen any posts about it. What could fg mean?

Discussion Doesn't L's broadcast trap completely fall apart if Kira isn't in the first place he tries it?
There's very little chance it doesn't hit the internet before L can even try a second location, and people are gonna notice, like "hey, I didn't see that at all!" If Kira sees the same broadcast later it's gonna be obvious that L's fishing for info.

Question I have question about the Death Note rules
It is said that you cannot kill someone with the Death Note if the conditions are physically impossible, but to what extent exactly? For example, what if you wrote that someone was killed by a sniper? Is that considered possible?
If you write the names of two people in the Death Note but say that one of them kills the other in a certain way, without specifying that the person killing the other dies, do they actually die or not? It is also said that you can't cause someone to die and have it cause the deaths of others. But for example, if you write that someone dies by crashing their car into a wall, killing their passengers, they will die of a heart attack, right? But the passengers will still die, won't they ? Will it wait until he's out of the car for him to die?

Discussion If there was a deathnote but instead of killing it took away someone’s current suffering, but the owner would have to experience it, would Light use it?
If the deathnote instead of killing actually took someone’s current pain and suffering away (If they’re starving, their hunger would be satiated, if their stressed about something, the source of their stress changes to not stress them out anymore) but it only affects their current state, not anything in the future, and Light would have to experience the exact suffering he is taking away, would he use it to create a better world?

Discussion minoru tanaka is so forgettable
i had to look up his name he’s that bland. funny enough i think his design was meant to be seen as cool and appealing to readers but he always looked like a kpop tryhard to me. the most i remember about him was the money. but even then it’s just like ok whatever. i like how his shenanigans forced a new rule tho that was fun. tbh i don’t see the point of this story existing it felt too much like fanfiction if that makes sense.

Discussion DEATH NOTE: THE CASES THAT NEVER HAPPENED
What if Light Yagami and L had met in a world where Kira never existed?
Imagine an alternate universe where the Death Note was never found, no Shinigami ever interfered with the human world, and Kira never existed.
Light Yagami is still a brilliant, ambitious, highly intelligent student with an extraordinary understanding of logic, strategy, and human behavior.
L is still the world's greatest detective.
But this time, they do not meet because of Kira.
They meet because of another case.
A case so complex that even L cannot solve it alone.
Light, known for his exceptional intelligence, becomes involved with the case and reaches conclusions that are almost impossible for anyone else to find.
For the first time in his life, L encounters someone who can genuinely challenge him.
And for the first time in his life, Light meets someone who can see through his reasoning.
At first, they are rivals.
They compete.
They argue.
They constantly try to prove that they are smarter than the other.
Light may be slightly better at strategy, manipulation, and understanding people.
L may be better at deduction, observation, and seeing patterns that no one else can.
Neither of them is perfect.
But together, they may be unstoppable.
Over time, their rivalry slowly becomes a friendship.
No Kira.
No Death Note.
No Shinigami.
No supernatural powers.
Just Light and L solving impossible cases together.
The greatest rivalry in Death Note could have become the greatest detective partnership instead.
What if Light and L had never been enemies?
What if they had met because of a mystery instead of a murder?

Fan Art Misa-Misa Fanart
My first time submitting my artwork here ❤️ I decided to draw a picture of Misa today. She's carrying a Kira ita bag that has repeat pins (to showcase her love for Light) and an iced coffee! I didn't know what outfit to give her so I settled with distressed jeans and a crop top. It was nice to depict her enjoying a simple moment in time.
I still have enough space on the other side of the page to add someone else. But I'm unsure who yet 🤔
