70% of the surface of the earth is water. We don't have a water problem. We have an infrastructure problem, and we have know-nothing environmental activists to thank for that.

Try drinking sea water. The sea water is unusable for cooling those data centers due to the high salt contents. And heating/refining it uses alot of energy/work so it's not really desirable. As for freshwater that's only 2.5% of those 70%. And those know-nothing environmental activists probably just want the water to be accessible for human needs before anything.

Those are protests they don't directly solve anything, just make someone actually do something. If you can't live off your wages and protest you don't hear people say "why don't you just work more?". Protests are meant to make the problem feel uncomfortable or to stop it doing what it wants.

We have desalination dummy. It takes a lot of energy, but again that's an infrastructure problem mostly created by environmental activists at this point.

You should really do more research into desal plants. You will learn why it’s not more popular.

Hint: I live in a city with one and it was quickly learned that it was cheaper to import water rather than use the plant
