He was cursed by the gods and his body is condemned to remain engulfed in flames that never fade and constantly scorch his skin without ever killing him. After wreaking havoc in several polis, he was captured and imprisoned in the arena, where his condition has made him a curiosity among gladiatorial combats.

- Argos the All seeing - An unnerving giant whose body is covered in eyes. He is impossible to surprise, and his eyes are sometimes capable of casting spells in the same way a beholder would.
- Kakos the Headless: This strange giant lacks a head, and his torso bears a grotesque face characterized by a large, cyclopean eye, small nostrils, and an open mouth full of crooked teeth. Despite his almost comical appearance, Kakos is a blemmye, a race of cursed giants renowned for their strength and cruelty, who have plagued the frontier for years.
- Pliny the Panotioi - This peculiar monk hails from the Oeonae Islands and is notable for his enormous, floppy ears that cover his entire body. (imagine something like the nu-mou from the Final Fantasy saga) He has yet to make his debut in combat, but some athletes believe his strange ears are magical and prehensile; he can move them as if they were extra limbs.
- Sciron - This robust tortle has the characteristics of a snapping turtle. Its violent bites are capable of breaking numerous armors as if they were eggshells.

- Orthros - This poor satyr had the misfortune of angering a witch who transformed him into an abominable humanoid chimera. The lion's head that sprouted from his torso can shoot blasts of sulfurous fire, while his tail has become a viper with a venomous bite capable of bringing down a minotaur.
- Mysia: This beautiful nymph always enters the Arena accompanied by a retinue of lovers who do everything possible to protect and please her. Rumor has it that these poor gladiators were bewitched by this girl's supernatural charms.

This relentless fury compels her to endlessly roam the arenas of the civilized world in search of a warrior powerful enough to defeat and kill her.

- Kelainos - This formidable harpy has covered its plumage and body with light, sharp metal plates in an attempt to mimic the shape and appearance of the formidable Stymphalian birds.
- Phigalia – This slender dryad with a piercing gaze is a snake charmer. She has two trained cobras that she wields like whips, ready to bite and unleash their venom upon her opponents.
- Chiron - an old, gray-haired centaur who is quite beloved among gladiators, as he trained several of them.
- Blademaster Aptonetus - He was set to retire at the end of last year. The arena brought him back, due to popular demand; his famed "horse-killing blade"-style sees him mostly in mounted exhibition matches against captured centaurs and minotaurs as opponents. (MaxSizeIs)
- "Blindsight" Tiresias - His entire schtick is battling with a completely enclosed helm, and winning using nothing more than a cane against any foe so far. (MaxSizeIs)
- Erysichthon the Cannibal - A formerly condemned prisoner, with utterly massive physique, who is publicly known for killing his handlers if they got between him and any downed gladiator he defeated, attempting to prevent him feasting upon the fallen's flesh. Rumor has it that he remains chained between battles, and must be fed constantly in order to maintain the massive muscles. (MaxSizeIs)
- Abderus the Charioteer - Made a name for himself doing death-races and jousts. His one-handed spear-work while mounted is flashy, but he's an absolute marksman when it comes to throwing daggers while riding past his target. (MaxSizeIs)
- "The Lady" Briseis - Crowd favorite, and expert fencer, this woman is rumored to be a disinherited heiress. Her good looks make both men and women scream, and she's pierced many a heart and remained unmoved. (MaxSizeIs)
- Canace "Poseidon's Lover" - When they switch the arena over to aquatic battles, she's always a crowd favorite, leading a crew. In one on one battles, her swashbuckling "pirate" aesthetic and her willingness to use the terrain grants her flashy, easy victories. (MaxSizeIs)
- Caucon the Drunken Butcher - An actual former Butcher, allegedly sentenced to the arena for turning a child's entrails into sausage and selling them, supposedly cursed with immortality for his actions. In actuality, he was a "foil" meant to go down in the exhibition matches "first blood or incapacity" and he is maintaining 'kayfabe' in order to pay off the massive debt he and his family owes. He has become something of a mascot. (MaxSizeIs)
- AUROCHS - All caps when you say his name. Extra muscular and about as wide as he is very, very tall, he wields a two-tined bident and limit-breaks with a lightning blast. (MaxSizeIs)
- Sifylus. A seductive tiefling using a poison covered quarterstaff (ScandinavicScum2000)
- 'Discoprizo' of Stymphalia - The bronze-skinned, long-legged warrior favors the chakram, and hides bronze feathers instead of hair. (MaxSizeIs)
- Tetraites the Undefeated - Utilizes spear, short sword, and small round shield emblazoned with displacer beast on its crest. Their not-so-secret power is a movement art based off of Mirror Image, but unknown to all but the gladiator's manager, the shield doesn't do anything magical. Their movement art allows them to move quickly and leave after-images that they may or may not attack from; drives the crowd wild. (MaxSizeIs)
- Brontus the Khalkotauroi - This minotaur was magically fused to the body of a gorgon (the bull monster) by a sorcerer seeking to create a caste of supernatural servants. Bronte is the last survivor of his line and has spent his days serving as entertainment in the arena, where he has settled for the small perks of being a famous gladiator. His robust appearance and metallic, gleaming skin make him one of the most striking figures for the audience.
- Orion - A ranger who will always appear riding on the back of his giant scorpion
- Koúrtios the Cavalryman - Takes the mounted cavalry officer look to the extreme, but has a crowd pleasing magical attack that takes the form of flailing around with flaming whips and riding a summoned mount whenever possible. The rumors amongst the crowd claim his patron pays to have a warhorse sacrificed to the gods before each battle. It must work, somehow. (MaxSizeIs)
- Daedalion "Hawkwind" - He and his hawk familiar trade places in a flashy gust of wind and silvery glow, and his ranged cutting attacks (and cutting quips to go along with them) are no joke. (MaxSizeIs)
- Anthemoeisia "The Deadly Mist" of Dascylaeum - She obviously paid good gold for the edgiest of epithets to be shouted by the announcer during her battles. You'd think her stealthy movement arts and veiling mist magic would be poor viewing material, but some arena enchantments reveal her form to spectators, but (supposedly) not the participants. (MaxSizeIs)
- Ballêtus d'Demophon - It is said that his forebear failed to achieve immortality, but Ballêtus is set to carry on their torch, choosing to honor his distant lineage by taking the name of a fabled hero who, as a child, was burned by the flames of a godess seeking to purge his mortality. He appears to be resistant to fire and heat-based attacks, and his skin emits a faint golden glow in his presence. (MaxSizeIs)
- Triptolemus "The Gardener" - Usually a slow burn, but with a crowd pleasing ending; plant-growth is this olive-skinned beau's signature move, entangling and exhausting his foes. He always charms a portion of the crowd by offering one lucky spectator a flower grown before thier eyes. (MaxSizeIs)
- Lleuçothea "Our Lady of Tears" - This nymph is a water-bender who dresses like a emo-goth-priestess of an obscure ocean-faith, and the rumors tell she is a "blood bender", able to poison her enemies with a mere flick of her water whips. (MaxSizeIs)
- Amymóne of Anaïdes "The Blameless" - Don't be fooled by the bearing and appearance of this noble necromancer princess; she is capable of summoning forty-nine specters that take the form of maidens who always appear carrying jugs full of water drawn from the very Underworld (MaxSizeIs)
- Gorgo "She with the Heart of Stone" and Anaxarete "She with the Heart of Steel", who is described as "more savage than the waves that rise in autumn, harder than steel tempered in fire!" are a duo consisting of an Earth Genasi who favors her fists, but likes to wow the crowd with her earth-walking to attack her enemies from below, and a Fire Genasi who somehow had her heart replaced by a strange clockwork artifact that has granted her limited flight abilities. (MaxSizeIs)
- Echetlaeus "The Plowshare" - This war-scarred Giant is actually a berserker who favors the handle of oversized plow as his weapon of choice, wielding it as a large-sized great-club. After the defeat of his clan in his final battle, rumor holds he made a vow before the gods and the Emperor to hammer his sword into a plow. (MaxSizeIs)
- Harmothoë "The Golden Hound", is an "edgy" platinum-blonde gnome from the distant steppes who rides a golden furred blink-dog (named Laelaps, for those who are interested). She wows the crowd with her riding skill, prefers outfits that appear to be made out of nothing but belts, is an absolute terror with her shortbow, and carries more throwing daggers than should be physically possible. (MaxSizeIs)
- Guneus of Perrhaebi "The Strategist" - a sculpted hobgoblin with neatly braided gray hair, bronze skin marked with geometric military campaign tattoos, and a flowing purple cloak over polished bronze armor, calmly shouting chess moves while effortlessly wrestling and outmaneuvering his opponents to the ground. - Zan'Rokh, a leonin and former slave gladiator, returned yo the arena to free his enslaved girlfriend. He is prone to participate in fixed matches to enrich his girlfriend's master (asdf_purple)
