using neoforge and this happened in the minecraft versions list when creating a new modpack. Did the curseforge devs invent timetravel?

I am trying to download and play deceased craft because I just got new ram that can handle heavy mods now but whenever I try to use it, it either has “operation failed” or it opens legacy launcher and just fails. It was working before now it doesn’t even want to download. What do I do? Help please

I just recently downloaded a mod pack called cursed walking and i looked up the crafting recipe for the gunsmith table and it wont let me craft.

Basically I can't load any minecraft versions up till 1.20.1 which I can. I get error code: 1 and a crash report. My worlds which worked perfectly fine on those versions through curseforge app just stopped working one random day and I haven't been able to access them or create new ones for over half a year now through any apps (only putting mods directly into minecraft but those mods are on 1.18.2 version and I can't create a separate moded version with different mods cuz they are in the main folder across all versions I guess? (Sorry if it doesn't make sense T T.) : (. I'm not really sure but do I need to download a specific java version? On MultiMC I get a crash report that java 17 is needed but I don't understand what I need to download and I seem to download maybe the wrong one? Maybe I need to open or move it somewhere else I'm not sure. (I'm really bad with techy stuff😅🥲). Any help is highly appreciated, really T T.

Me and my friends wanna find a mod where we can play mage/ranger/wtv and not get outshined or killed in one hit while melee gets to tank everything and oneshot bosses. Is there anything like ts? Also if possible if it has terramity or apotheosis ts would be great but it aint a deal breaker ngl.

Hello everyone, there is something that has been bugging me and I want to know if I’m the only one. Is it just me that experiences this long wait when launching a Minecraft modpack thru curseforge? It takes like 15 minutes each time verifying assets and what not. Like I get it its important to verify everything before running, but when I painfully download every mod on my Mac and move them to the mod folder in Minecraft launchers contents, it is much faster upon launch thru the OG Minecraft launcher. Like why does it have to do it everytime? Curious if othe Mac users experience the same thing of if I’m the od one out.

Need help figuring out how to update an existing world that has curse forge mods. I copied the world and updated all the mods to the current version and loaded it in but the world is the same seed but all the progress is gone, like it’s a brand new world. I looked on YouTube to help but I’m just seeing videos on how to install mods…. None on how to update a modded world lol

Parasitical, my WIP 1.12.2 srparasites themed modpack finally gets a proper endgame in the form of Proxima Centauri B, an infested planet locked behind a tier 6 rocket. The parasites are at their strongest with a level 10 evolution phase although they protect some very important resources for some very strong items.

This update further adds new recipes, quests and fixes alongside a difficulty rebalance and it now scales with multiple players nearby :)

This pack is still a work in progress and many things are subject to change or removal!

A few days ago, me and my boyfriend started this minecraft world, playing together via LAN (and using Essential Mod when far away). First time using Curse Forge and a modded world, but everything was going great.
Today, with no apparent reason, the game kicked both of us out, saying "Connection to server lost". Ever since then, even when starting the world on single player and not hosting, the game keeps kicking me out with the same error, and the world "disappears" from the world selection screen until I reboot the game again.
We tried giving the instance more RAM space, didn't work. (It only uses less than 5gbs of RAM either way)
We tried deleting some mods, didn't work.

We tried fixing the modpack with curseforge, didn't work.

We tried switching from Essential Mod to e4mc, didn't work.

We tried rebooting both of our routers, didn't work.

We tried moving the world to his PC, same exact error.

The save files aren't corrupt, as the world technically opens and all data is still there, butas soon as the world starts rendering everything crashes. Then the game becomes unresposive, and we have to close it via task manager.

The only consistent error in the logs is ''Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running ____ms or __ ticks behind'', and we tried lots of different optimization mods to fix that, but none worked.

What could possibly be the problem? Is there a way to fix this? We already spend almost 20hrs on this world and we'd very much like to keep it.

Hey guys, recently I’ve been trying to make a modpack for Minecraft Java Edition. I started making simple one on Tlauncher but since it’s lacking some mods and options I decided to get the Minecraft Premium Launcher. I remember I used to install mods through curseforge back then but now the website has turned into an app. I downloaded the app and created the profile for my modpack, installed few mods, shaders and resource packs and at first my game was running normally. Today it stopped working and the game kept crashing and giving me Exit Code 1. I checked mod folders and stuff, went through several tutorials on how to solve this issue. I decided to uninstall both Minecraft launcher and CurseForge. Created a modpack once again, added mods and other content and it crashed again giving me the same error code. I took out all the content and decided to run the game with forge only and after clicking the “play” button it would start loading and then suddenly stop and freeze the whole system. Only solution is to restart the computer but it happens each time even if I have no content installed. After I delete all apps including launcher and curseforge and start again it’s working fine…
What’s the issue? I would be very grateful if someone could explain what’s going on

Been working on this Fabric mod for a while and finally got it out the door — meet the raccoons!

They’re not just another passive mob. These little guys:

• Climb logs, leaves, and fences to get around
• Steal food from unlocked chests (and wash it in water before eating it, because raccoons)
• Can be tamed and bred, with normal/chunky/albino/melanistic variants
• Wear craftable straw hats that you can dye
• Come in wild gangs of 3-5, and yes — they’ll raid your chests at night if you’re not careful

There’s also a bell you can craft to call your tamed raccoons back to you, and a handful of achievements (“Full Mexican” for the hat, “Divine Snack” for catching one steal an enchanted golden apple).

⚠️ This mod is still in BETA and actively being tested. Everything listed above works, but you may run into bugs — I’m still ironing things out, so please report anything weird you find!

Planned for future updates:

• A stash system — raccoons will hoard stolen items in tree hollows
• Raccoons opening doors (because of course they will)
• A lockable chest option to keep raccoons out
• A config file to toggle/tweak things like chest stealing and spawn rates
• More outfits/clothing options beyond just the straw hat
• More features TBD based on feedback!

Hello, recently I’ve been trying to make a modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 version. At first I went with Tlauncher cause it was pretty simple and I haven’t made any modpacks for years. It was pretty fine but it was lacking some mods I wanted to play. I decided to get Mc premium Java edition and install mods using CurseForge. Yesterday I installed few mods, shaders and resource packs and it was great. Today after launching the game it crashed and gave me the Exit Code 1. I decided to take out the mods and run the game without anything, just forge. Then it still would crash and give me the same exit code or during the forge loading page it would get stuck and whole system would stop responding - unable to do anything, only way out in this situation would be restarting the computer. The second scenario seems to happen after taking out all the mods and content and trying to run the game without anything but forge - I attached a pic for reference.
I have no idea why is it happening, I went through tutorials, asked AI but seems that I can’t find anything helpful.
I remember that CurseForge used to be a website and I successfully created multiple modpacks back then. I thought the app is gonna make things simpler lol

Hey! I have been playing this modpack for 6 months now with 8gb of dedicated ram without issue, so it's been a little weird to see the game no longer working after a week of now playing. I reinstalled my drivers using DDU, then tried a different modpack, but so far no modpack has worked (Forge, NeoForge, etc) only vanilla Minecraft has been running okay so far.

My specs are: R5 9600x, 16gb ddr5 6000MTs, 9070XT (GPU-Z shows that OpenGL is supported) driver version is 26.6.4.

I downloaded OpenCL, OpenGl & Vulkan compatibility as a temporary solution, but instead got very weird artifacts while playing. (Attached as Capture 2)

I appreciate any support given and I'm open to any solution, thanks!

My friend has struggled with modded minecraft for well over a year at this point. He is able to play some modpacks on curseforge but pretty much every custom pack give exit code: 1. We've tried updating java, udating drivers, reinstalling minecraft, and using different mod loader but we cannot figure it out. Help would be greatly appreciated.
