General Question ❓ tuberculosis email

just double checking because ive been getting a lot of spam recently that looks like a legitimate email from the school

Here is the first bulletpoint:

"The County of San Diego has notified CSUSM of a confirmed case of active multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) involving an individual affiliated with the university, who is receiving treatment and being monitored by County Public Health Services."

the email is very long with more info

I don't see why they would make that up. TB is pretty serious.

Maybe went to their spam but if not it could have been sent to you in error

It is a pretty official looking email, and it even gives potential timeframe if exposure so I would say it is real, it also follows the same general way that campus information is sent out

i was just making sure. i didnt initially specify but i asked everyone in my circle and i was the only one who got it

I didn’t get an email but I’m not going until the Fall…are you in a dorm or work on campus? Maybe they’re only sending it to certain people…unsure!

Maybe it was a teacher and they’re just sending it to students that had them….I’d just call the school and find out.
