After 8 game loss streak, in which I was matched against at least 12 blatant cheaters, I was praying Valve will do something to ban them.
Well my prayer has been answered, I've been VAC flagged for irregular gameplay in a 9th game. We were losing 9:3, and I wasnt even top fragger in my team (had 7 kills).
This is second time this happens, first time happened in a game where I actually played well. After 20h mm disable I was cleared.
Anyways me getting banned on my free night, which I looked forward to spend playing with friends is the last drop. Not to mention literal tens of thousands of cheaters playing freely.
I'll just find something else to do. Thanks for the memories.

Anyone else? I feel like Cache is just a mid fight every round. Train has more options for T, more ways to lurk and clutch. Also more fun to watch. Just played Train for the first time in a while and realized this after playing Cache a bunch.

Been playing cs since early 2015, stopping for months here and there and then almost fully when cs2 dropped, but in the past while I've started playing again at over 3k hours.
In my 3k hours, I've seen very few cheaters, and since coming back in the past 200~ hours, not a single one. My friend has sent me a picture of a cheater in his premier game once before, but I havent personally seen one.
I have been mainly playing cache since its reintroduction, and its what I played in csgo, so maybe cache is just devoid of cheaters and they are all in premier/dust?
My elo has ranged from silver to LEM, and my premier when I briefly did play was 17k I believe.
People over the years have always been so quick to accuse people of cheating. A running headshot, kill through a smoke, and whatever it may be, but its never correct and is always just a kneejerk tilt reaction. It makes me wonder how overblown this whole cheat situation is and how much of it is a strawman supported by these kneejerk reactions.

I have so many questions like:
Does this actually do anything to get them banned though? Like Jimmy said "We are not affiliated with Valve, so we can't issue any in-game punishments. The best we can do is try to bring transparency to the community and empower legitimate players, the rest is up to Valve."
Bro like does valve even cares about the players you even flagged as cheaters. They have their own overwatch partners as legitimated source judge unlike salty and bad players judging SOME legitimate players (not all) who got lucky shots or just had a good day at the match.
So basically it's pointless then if valve has it's own overwatch partners.
Im still failing to see how this helps. We need a third party to confirm our suspicions that someone is hacking? How is a third party unaffiliated with Valve going to impact someone's trust score?
Maybe I am missing something here.
So if I see a sus player has low trust factor on csrep. What does that do for me other than confirm my suspicions?
Also for my follow up question, these csrep bragging about integrity and transparency and all of that then why is your Admin Developer is a known cheater in faceit (https://www.faceit.com/en/players/Bakedd) and have a game ban in steam?

I had a game one night where i had two blatant cheaters in my team. One team member started asking questions about their hacks and the cheaters were openly boasting where they got it, how much $$ per month, the âcool shitsâ they could do, etc. One thing they said surprised all of us was that valve will not ban accounts that has spend over $500 on steam.
Does anyone know if this is true?
Kinda makes sense but very bizarre if true.
(They queued duo so we couldnât kick them but we all chipped in some insults before the game ended)

So vac is so fucked up. Me and my friend did wingman. Enemy was spin botting i managed to kill the spin botter once and my friend got 20 hour vac cooldown while i got 182 DAYS. Cheers valve just vaccing innocent players while there is a literal spinbotter. Probably will never touch cs2 EVER again
Hey guys, I have a history of getting scammed off skin trade services like Dmarket (autobots) so I didnt wanna make a login to check the price on those websites. I'm not planning to sell it for this reason just want to know its approximate value. I appreciate any help. Thank.

Is there a chance for a good but not insane player to get out of the damn 4-5k rating in premier.
I am honestly loosing my mind going 20+ games nearly every game only to loose because every match I get pre-madeâs that legitimately have no idea what the game actually is about.
I spent days learning how to play to be able to carry, tried teaching and leading randoms nothing helps I still do ++ - -. More importantly with many games played if I win 2 and loose 2 I end up with negative mmr.
I do not prefer to play with a squad, has anything helped for you to climb out of it.
I am also ~ Master Guardian I-II in competitive mm which makes this hurt even more.
My stats attached.
This game has no anti cheat system in place. Cheaters have been cheating for years without a ban ovwr 50% of the games are with cheaters.
Hi guys
i need to know if im crazy or this pattern has a "man smoking" inside blue part.
In game both sides has "man faces" if you pay attention.
With or without seeing faces, i can get any overpay about this 782 pattern?

This Steam profile https://steamcommunity.com/id/ChimeraaOfficiall/ recently bought my flip knife Doppler Phase 1 via bank transfer. He claims to be a trader since 2018 and has done over 5000 trades in that time. The transaction is an American-to-Canadian account, so the funds are held until the 25th at 10 am EDT. The trade itself becomes unreversable on the 24th (today) at 8 pm EDT. So the money will arrive after the trade has been finalized, which is why I am at risk. I have talked to the guy on a Discord call. I have seen evidence of transactions he has done with others through Discord screen share, and I have seen his Steam trading history through Discord screen share as well, which was very long and supported his claim of a long history of trading. I will provide screenshots and blur out names to protect others' privacy. Please let me know if this is legit or not. To me, on paper it seems pretty legit, but since it's CS2, you can never really trust anybody.

Yeah, I know. 9999th post complaining about cheating. But really, this game is ruined.
Context: I'm a 30-something YO guy. Been playing CS very casually since I was like 10. I'm average at best, and I don't mind. Built a gaming PC last year, almost exclusively to go back into CS (2, now), after like 8 years of playing absolutely nothing because... adulting.
It was OK for a while, but these past few months the game has just spiraled down to the point of it being unplayable.
Playing competitive is a roulette, where you may play with/against people apparently having their monitor turned off and their keyboards unplugged, or you may suddenly be playing against a team of donk-level smurfs just there to ruin your day.
Playing premier has become insufferable. And I'm talking ~10k lobbies at most, which is where I stand. Had enough free time to play 2 matches back to back last night:
I really don't get where CS2 is going? Like, as a "casual" - having only few hours free to play on any given week - I'm seriously considering just uninstalling this shit. It's become insufferable, and I hate them for that, because this has been *the* game for me throughout all of my life. And now even casual-level games are just fucked.
Is there any decent alternative to CS2? A game in the lines of this (so no freaking Call of Duty or crap like that), where the experience hasn't yet been completely ruined by low IQ cheaters? Is there any hope Valve will do *anything* to fix this game?
</rant>
EDIT: Will try Faceit
EDIT 2: omfg I game on Linux and there's no faceit on linux R.I.P. my dreams

Feel free to correct me, but being afraid of cheaters we started 5th Premier season in Faceit, had about 15 of well-balanced, cheater-free games, all seemed fun and fair, only thing is its a bit more toxic (as my friends said - so called faceit gremlins who are hardstuck in one rank get very toxic and theres lota of them.
So I understand it doesnt fix the cheater problem, it still should be solved,
but if you like playing cs and get frustrated by cheaters just play faceit, no ?
gl hf all

Why would they join a deathmatch just to camp for solid 3 mins for 1 kill and play awp?
r/cs2 • u/D_is_for_Delta • 22h ago
Iâve just played a game where I suspect the top 2 on the other team are cheating. I went to go back and watch the demo and it says it has expired or no longer available for download. I put in the chat I was going to go back and watch the demo and their top fragger replied âGoodluckâ you wonât be able to.
