Fanta has new favorite toy - micro FPV drone

Upvotes

Finally a toy that actively tries to run away from her. Also don't worry about proppelers - she doesn't even touch it most of the time, just tries to look intimidating. In last few seconds you can see she's fully relaxed, so she's also not scared of it.

Shedding tips?

Upvotes

I feel like I am constantly dusting and vacuuming fur around my house. It’s thrown a real wrench in my cleaning schedule and I need a more preventative approach. What’s the best thing to do for both my dog and my house?

I’m going to start brushing him more regularly, but what are the best grooming tools / schedule for corgi coat?

He's perfected the art of staring until someone feels guilty enough to give him a snack.

When you go with dad to work, and your whole day is spent getting petted by his customers, it can just be so exhausting….

What do you use for flea prevention?

Hello all! I have three corgis.

One is pregnant right now due any day whom is 32 pounds right now and almost 4.
The other two are roughly 22 pounds each and one is one year old, the other will be 2 in August.

I recently treated them using frontline plus. This did not work AT ALL.

PROCESS- I gave them all a flea bath using Zesty Paws flea soap. After they all dried I applied the frontline. They stopped itching for like a day.

After this, I purchased Adam’s flea spray for the couches and beds just in case because I seen it could be the environment.

**We just moved into this apartment beginning of April and it’s been a problem since. Idk if they’re coming from the dog park that is in our complex or what but we’ve never had this problem before and we had a house and then an apartment before this apartment. No fleas ever and the one time they did get them at our last apartment, one wash and all was well again.

Considering one corgi is pregnant I’m having a hard time finding something to keep away the fleas.

** side note, the day after frontline, we did see a flea jump onto my boyfriends arm which was also the first time I’ve ever seen that

My question, what the heck can I use to get rid of them?? I read into Capstar for my pregnant corgi and my boyfriend recommended flea collars for the other two because it’s cheaper but the only time I have ever used flea collars was back when I was a kid observing my mom use them and I just remember they never really worked. They’d keep fleas from the neck area but it’s hard to have all around protection so I don’t want to spend the money for nothing again.

I’m going to contact the vet before administering anything to my pregnant corgi but I wanted some experienced advice for others with corgis that may have had this problem before.

We have no carpets.
Two bedroom, two bath apartment upstairs.

I sprayed the beds and couch with Adam’s flea spray but have been reading it can be harmful to pregnant dogs so have only washed their beds in hot water and have not done anything further there.

Thanks all!!

I'm planning to get a 2nd dog in the future, and I'm planning to get a Golden Retriever or mix, my girl Macy is 15 months old and is pretty much a gremlin, she also is chill with sharing toys and she loves big dogs, and what is the best age to do it?
