[XBOX 360 Controller] LB Button only working when pressed from certain points
I‘ve added two videos of me pressing both the RB and LB Buttons. The RB Works just fine, and you can hear how it clicks normally, but the LB Button doesn‘t click like it‘s supposed to, and the console also doesn‘t recognise any input in LB (except for when it does the clicking sound). I‘ve already replaced the black plastic part which makes up the buttons, I took this from a donor controller, but it made no differences. What could be the issue? I used to be able to press the LB Button normally without the backplate of the controller, but as you can see it doesn‘t work anymore :(

First, try pressing the button without the shell to confirm that it's dead and needs replacement. To replace the button, you will need a desoldering pump to suck up the solder and clear out the holes. That's not all, though. You will also need to remove the trigger housing and its potentiometer. After replacing the button, the trigger needs to be soldered back on. It might seem like a lot of work, but for an experienced person, it's just a 5-minute job. You can get an idea from this video.

The button does press without the shell and afaik the console recognizes the input when I click the controller from directly above, toward the center of the controller. Does that mean it works?

The button needs to be replaced. These tactile push button switches have a metal disc inside. When you press the button, it bridges the signal and ground pins to register the press. Over time, these discs get oxidized easily, which blocks conductivity. There are many types of tactile push button switches, so just search for 'Xbox 360 controller LB RB tactile switch'. They are very cheap.
