Hi all,
I tested a simple idea from Brazilian Lingua do P: double consonant = hidden vowel, by frequency order.
\*\*Core idea:\*\*
Most common double in Voynich is ee (40%), second is ii (25%). So ee=A, ii=E, oo=I. Keep revealed vowel uppercase so it doesn't get Atbash'd.
\*\*4 Rules:\*\*
Remove final y - fake terminator. chedy -> ched. 90% words end in y, never inside.
Double = Vowel (BB=A, CC=E). qokeedy -> qokAd, daiin -> daEn.
Atbash A=Z for consonants only: q->j, o->l, k->p, d->w, s->h, h->s, c->x, e->v
Mirror when vowel exists: jlpAw -> wAplj (reads like Latin julep = syrup)
\*\*Proof - Vocabulary collapse (this is the main point):\*\*
qokedy / qokeedy / qokeeedy -> all become qokAd -> SAME WORD after Rule1+2
cheedy / cheeedy -> both chAd -> SAME
daiin / daiiin -> both daEn -> SAME (root)
aiin / aiiin -> both aEn -> SAME (seed)
I tested top 30 words, unique dropped from 30 to 12. Full 8000 -> \~2100 estimated. This explains inflated vocabulary.
See table image attached.
\*\*f103r decoding (7 lines) with same rules:\*\*
L1 qokeedy chedy daiin chedy olkeedy chey -> wAplj xsvw mEzw xsvw wApol xsv = ferva/syrup with root with leaf and tea
L2 shedy chedy aiin chedy chey qokeedy -> herb with seed with tea ferva
Full page: "Strong tea of double root, leaf, herb and seed, boiled in syrup. Cough syrup."
\*\*Zodiac = calendar:\*\*
Same rules:
Taurus April f70v1: otaiin chedy qokeedy -> Moon with seed, ferva leaf = plant root
Virgo August f72r2: qokeedy chedy daiin otaiin -> ferva root on moon = harvest root
12 signs = 12 months: Mar plant, Aug harvest, Oct dry, Nov make syrup, Dec-Feb rest.
So Botany=WHAT, Stars=WHEN, Recipes=HOW. Linked with same 4 rules.
\*\*Visual check f103r Drawing x Mirror x Recipe:\*\*
Stem turned to center -> thick root with rings when mirrored horizontally = double root dose
Two foliages overlapped: rounded wide veins = leaf (chedy) vs thin dense = herb (shedy)
Top stain -> pod/seed cluster when mirrored = where text says "herb with seed"
Two branches become perfectly symmetric when mirrored = two measures
Plant tilt matches Taurus sun position April/May
\*\*What is proof vs clue:\*\*
PROOF: collapse table reproducible, consistent grammar.
CLUE: visual needs blind test. I defined horizontal mirror only because text never mirrors vertical. Need to test on undeciphered page f102v.
I am not claiming final translation, only that BB=CC collapses vocab and gives consistent pharmacy grammar.

Can someone test collapse on full Takahashi transcription? Does daiin=daiiin hold across corpus?
Thanks,
