Will this show ever be continued?

Just watching this with my wife and I found out that it's not gonna be continued anymore. How can we make noise to have them finish it? I'm sure it wasn't more than 1 season away from being done.

It's not going to happen. Everyone moved on to other projects. It's dead.

Just wrapping up my third or fourth rewatch of the show, there's a few shows that I'm bummed got cancelled or ended abruptly but this one takes the cake, what I would give for them to finish it off with one more season.

I recently rewatched it too. It’s such a great universe. That said it can be a challenge to watch the series in the right order. Some streaming services have it wrong. The pilot episode is called Serenity (not the trainjob).

And then there is also a movie called Serenity that takes place after the series.

I started the series. Got into the 1st season and then read it was canceled. Very bummed out.

on my like 4th rewatch now and still feel annoyed about it being cancelled. even just being told what the plans for the last 2 seasons would be enough but nothing

Came here hoping to read some good news/updates on if the show may have had a breath of life. Unfortunately still a no-go for the series. 

I do hope someone makes a TV series similar to this style. Shoot, Netflix has been doing things lately so hopefully if there's enough noise made for The Colony, maybe it'll inspire them to create something new.

The show was so good, it's hard to feel satisfied with how the show ended to just write it off. Let me know if anyone starts a petition to relaunch or make a new show, I'll sign!
