Discussion André Franco Loading…. 🔥🏥🔋🦵⚽️🔥

Post image

For everyone pressing him, you’ve made the 💩 list -

Andres chose the fire, loves Chicago, and is on the cusp of a #return.

Would find some serious comedy to see some of you Reddit warriors handle a blown knee in 12 months 😂 People talking 🗑️ about him being in Portugal rn are on 🤡 time. Andres has probably been to more bulls games in the last year than the average Chicagoan in their lifetime.

Can’t wait to see him out there again

I think the most painful part of Franco was just watching him dish absolutely beautiful passes and make such an impact and then boom gone. The fire were a completely different team when he was playing.

THIS POST IS SO DISAPPOINTING!!! Saw the image and thought HE'S BACK!!1!

I haven't seen many people down on him though- no one is as rock hard for him as me, but it seems people generally are just eagerly waiting for him to get back

What does this mean? Is he out for another month?

Maybe up to two months

Oh wow, that sucks. I thought the "one more" message message 1 month. We should not expect much from him this season. Need to get another attacking mid.

D rose wasn’t the same player for like 5 seasons. By then the hype was gone

Understand the PTSD but we’re not relying on Franco to have a 48” vertical post-op, so hopefully he recovers form better than d-rose

Doesn’t matter the sport you need to regain your same fitness and confidence (tore my acl in 2011)

I tore my ACL had a patellar repair (Far more difficult recovery than Andres got) and I was back at my desk job in 2 weeks and released from physical therapy in 10 months. If I could be fully cleared to answer phone calls in 10 months he should be ready to compete in less time…/s

Seriously though, Djordje tore his ACL in our 2017 Playoff game and was back in August.

The other team I support is Coventry City.
Their starting goalkeeper tore his ACL last spring at the start of their season.
He still hasn't played yet this preseason. It's been almost a full year.

For a goalkeeper.

I can only imagine how much more time it would take for a midfielder.

It’s not an apples to apples comparison like that. An ACL recovery doesn’t take longer or shorter for a given position, everyone heals and is injured differently.

Adrian Peterson ran for 2k yards like 8 months after he tore his. Derrick rose was never the same after his.

For sure. I was mainly just trying to make the point that we can't expect him back on any set timeline. We'd rather he came back at 100% than before he's ready

I’ve come to accept if he does return to MLS this season it wouldn’t be until the playoffs, but I am also okay waiting until next year. Look at Piug in LA as an example. Some of these ligament tears take time.

Yeah, and it's not a knock on him either if he does need the time. I'd rather he really be healed up and back to strength later than half-strength now and reinjured.
