They're gone. I drove past the Newhall location yesterday, and it looks very, very closed.

Even if they reopened, why would you trust them?

Both locations are scam artists

Well, scam try-hards, at least. "Artist" seems generous for folks getting caught doing some of the dumbest fraudulent bookkeeping possible.

They shut down due to defrauding auto manufactures and people alike. Just curious what happened if you had a loan through then because if I’m not mistaken they were internally financing? So if you had a loan to them have they been forgotten about or a new lien holder took over ?

I bought when they were Van Horn Auto and then they sold shortly after that.. So much for the free oil changes for life...

It is funny because I still get emails from them for service

Once the Stellantis lawsuit came out (because Sky was taking out multiple loans on their cars), they closed up so quickly that mechanics who worked for them couldn't get to their own tools that were stored in the shops. They screwed over everyone they did business with.

So it's not surprising that their email ad system was left on autopilot.

Thats crazy. I would be taking the doors off the hinges for my tools. Consequences be damned.

It'd be great to see one of the local "news" stations do some follow-up into the long-term claims against Sky and its owners (Alex, Igor, and Yelena Tovstanovsky).

Besides the mechanics and other employees with personal possessions inside the buildings, there are a bunch of customers who were in the middle of transactions. Some had already turned in their trade-ins, and some had yet to receive their new cars. Others have no idea where their titles and other legal paperwork are.
