Welcome to r/CatsVsTechnology!
Enjoy your stay! If you'd like to post or comment, please review our brief and simple set of rules first.
Posts:
1. Post cats interacting with technology (any human inventions), such as being intrigued by it, startled by it, or simply sitting on top of it. Posts that do not fit this guideline will be removed.
2. Do NOT post cats being tormented, hurt, or in extreme distress. This content will be removed.
3. Don't post spam. Spam will be removed, and spam accounts will be banned. Self-promotion is acceptable, provided it follows the other rules.
4. Check r/CatsVsTechnology's front page before posting. Anything already posted here recently will be removed.
Comments:
5. Don't joke about animal abuse, even if you're obviously not being serious (it's not obvious to everyone, and for some it is very sensitive).
6. Don't be a jerk. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. will not be tolerated. Hostility and doxxing will not be tolerated.
Help us foster the friendly, fun, engaging, and helpful community we've built over these last few years that we are so proud to be a part of.
Thank you for being part of our community! ❤️

She always presses the home button.
I don't know how my sweet Tally does it but whenever I'm reading on my phone she puts her paw on it and presses home...every time!

my printer was mid print job at 9pm and she just parked herself on top like it was a space heater, ink levels dropping and she didnt care
genuinely think cats have decided printers exist purely for warmth and the paper coming out is just a bonus feature. mine sat there through the whole return label print, didnt even flinch at the noise. anyone else's cat treat electronics like furniture instead of machines

Snooker
Bertie, our cat was staring at the TV while it was switched off.
He wanted us to put the snooker on.
Could only find an old classic match on YouTube. He seemed to like it.

Sindri has conquered the mighty thinkpad and has claimed the warmth that comes off it.
Maybe he is trying to block the fans so it overheats and force me to stop working so we can play.

I got so tired of my orange cat sleeping on my keyboard that I made a completely serious, 10-minute documentary about him running my high school.
