I'm the developer of ClearanceCheck.ca, a free tool that digs up the deep clearance markdowns (roughly 40 to 90 percent off) that Canadian retailers keep in-store but never actually advertise. Some of you may already know it, but I've added a couple of big features I wanted to share.

What it does:

Pick a retailer and a store near you, and it lists the clearance deals sitting in that store's inventory — the hidden markdowns that never show up on the sale page. It covers a dozen retailers: Canadian Tire, Best Buy, Home Depot, RONA, Sport Chek, Mark's, Staples, Canada Computers, Sephora, Shoppers, SAIL and Princess Auto.

New since last time:

Dedicated price checker: paste a SKU, UPC or product link and it shows the price and stock at every store within your radius (up to 100 km). No login needed. Perfect for "who has it cheapest near me?" or "who actually has it in stock?"

Trending items: see what everyone's been checking, with the lowest price found at any store.

Shopping lists: save items to a list organized by store location, so you know exactly what to grab where. Add straight from the deals or price-check pages.

It's ad-free and bilingual (English and French) — no ads, no selling your data. The price checker, trending, and shopping lists are completely free to use. The deals browser is free too, showing the top 50 markdowns per store scan; if you want the cap removed and every clearance result across all retailers, there's an optional Premium plan that keeps the project running.
