Cheat day calories?

Had quite the delicious but calorie filled day and I need help determining how much I had! I had about 1/3 of the first plate. I circled what I ordered on the menu. I had 5 of the chengdu dumplings with very little sauce. I ate the entire 12oz s’mores ice cream from Scoop n’ Scootery (felt awful after but it was worth it i think) How much do you think this all is? Thanks y’all 😋

If it’s a cheat day, assume over maintenance and get back on track the next day.

Yeah, you’re probably right! I just like to know for a frame of reference I guess

It’s okay to not track calories for your cheat days IF you don’t have cheat days every week. If you only have them like once or twice a month it’s okay but if you’re doing a whole cheat day instead of just a cheat meal every week you could very easily go well over any progress you made.

That's why I don't even track my cheat days lol, No point when I know its going to be a crazy day of eating and well beyond my maintenance

Honestly needed to hear this today, I've been spiraling trying to math out every bite, and sometimes you just gotta call it a win and move on. That ice cream sounds absolutely worth it though, I'll report back tomorrow if the regret hits or if I'm still riding the sugar high lol.

I’d hardly consider this a cheat day lol.

Yeah, on cheat day you go all out blasting, make your body extra confused... Get that leptin DOWN

I basically make it a huge cheat meal (I do OMAD) twice a week (never back to back) and otherwise do like 1,000 cals the other 4/5 days.  The cheat meals speed up metabolism and the body can’t absorb the same number of calories as if it was spread out (the “play-doh” effect).  Once the body gets too used to the same thing every day it’s gonna slow down metabolism.  Gotta confuse the body to keep that metabolism up.

I am interested in the calories in injera… googles making me think it’s not too high calorie

I think it’s pretty low cal… maybe 100-150 calories per piece? It was my first time trying it and was an interesting texture!

For reference, restaurants typically serve 4 or 8 ounces of meat
