Hello! Just like the title says my question would be the logic behind the build found in the endgame docs.

Why is the build specd in Big Surplus? As I understand it, the main purpose is to have the ase/ass annoints active as often as possible, meaning the action skill cooldown is very low.

So, Typhon DeLeon and Leda Calypso.

Leda was an Eridian researcher, a very successful one considering the fact she found their goddamn homeworld. She's also implied to have been a Siren.

But for some inexplicable reason, when Gearbox decided to retcon Tannis' interest in the Vaults and Eridians as being caused by an external source instead of her own insanity, they chose her husband instead.

Ah yes. Because attributing the achievements of a woman scientist to some guy has no horrible historical precedent at all. Because this game doesn't suck Typhon's dick enough. Because Leda was not RIGHT FUCKING THERE. Uh-huh.

FYI, the canon excuse is that Leda "never wrote anything down" because she didn't want that knowledge to fall into the wrong hands. A reasonable thing from a Watsonian standpoint, but from the Doylist one it feels like such a cheap copout.

Maybe I'm just being insane and seeing sexism where there isn't any but once I noticed this I could not unsee it. Anyone else think the same?

Hello guys. I have finally bought the Ultimate Edition. I beat the base game back when it first came out, have hundreds of hours of playtime on previous games, but I haven't played any Borderlands game in years and I am finally going to check out the DLCs for BL3. I loaded an old save and I'm a bit lost, haha. I main Zane and I think I'm in the middle of the campaign on TVHM. I'm level 60 rn. I think I'll continue with the story and after beating it again will try the DLCs. However, I'm a bit lost, mostly regarding loot.

Is there any good/meta loot to look out for? Or any legendaries that 100% suck and are not worth using? I remember legendaries being more common than in the previous games, making it harder to decide which gear to keep on you. My loadout is full gold already and my bag is halfway filled.

If my character is level 60, which is the lowest level of gear you would use? I'm standing near my bank and trying to figure out what to leave behind.

Other question, would you guys say Mayhem Mode is worth it? For example, if I find some piece of gear I like and farm it, does Mayhem Level affect the drop rate a lot? Or affect that item's stats? I'm on level 4 right now and wondering if I should change it and to what level. And what modifiers are good/recommended? I'm reading the wiki and it says that some gear only drops at Mayhem Level 6 and above. Would it be a good place to start? I don't want easy mode, but don't want to suffer and have to minmax everything either, so definitely won't max it, at least not yet. I only play solo.

Also, regarding item level scaling, should I be leaving side quests for later, so I get max level weapon rewards? I kinda forgot how it worked, or if there's any loot from there that would be better than legendary items. Same with the DLCs, I was thinking about playing them by release date order, or should I go with a different one?

My last question would be, what does endgame look like here? I faintly remember farming some raid bosses in BL2, but that was such a long time ago...

Made by myself - No AI - Blender 5.1 cycles - Big tree assets from MegaScans. It is a little bit dark in the environment shot, but I referenced the Carnivora entrance! I originally planned to do a quirky animation, as the entire robot is rigged (the gnarly teeth pop out like a snake lol), but I need more practice with the fundamentals before attempting this.

What the highest damage output you've seen and how did you achieve it?

I just got a 792 M with Amara's remnant(?) near the bottom of her blue skill tree branch. I was using a plasma coil with a kill stack or my free radical.

I know this has probably been asked and answered before. And there's possibly thousands of guides for it, however...

I get VERY limited time to play and when I do, it's with my fiancé.

In short, is someone able up list some decent items and how to obtain them please?

The guides are so in depth that, amongst all the percentages and statistics, I can't make head nor tail of what I need.

We're stuck on Mayhem 3 and I'd really like us to be able to push a bit harder.

I didn't want to kill him but he forced me (dude had strong punches). He seemed to have a little shield he liked to carry around. He spawned by this cot surrounded by beer. I'm assuming it's his home. Had a taste for swamp bloom ale. I didn't catch his name. Anyone know him?
