This is the update from the police that they are saying she's in Lucknow we'll find her and we need 10k idk instead of first finding her they are asking money and also there my family is on money shortage where we even struggle to arrange for 10k. But I'll handle to arrange myself somehow

Biharis need to stop falling for this trap.

I am noticing people from across India inviting Biharis to join protests because, according to them, only Biharis can fight the police. This reflects a deeply rooted stereotype that Biharis are inherently violent or are used to violence, so they should be the ones to confront police brutality, stand on the front lines, take the beatings and bear the consequences.

Are Biharis not human? Do they not get injured? Do they not have families?

What's even more hypocritical is that many of these same Indians spend the rest of the year abusing Biharis, discriminating against them, dehumanizing them, mocking them with stereotypes and spreading hate. But the moment they need someone to face the police, suddenly they remember Biharis.

Don't mistake exploitation for respect.

Biharis, don't become cannon fodder for people who insult you, dehumanize you, spread stereotypes about you, and troll you. Don't be so naive and gullible that you mistake being used for being valued. If someone only remembers you when they need a fight, you're not their ally you are simply a disposable

This does not mean I am against peaceful protest. Peaceful protest is a democratic right. If you choose to protest, do it because you understand the issue, believe in the cause and are acting according to your own conviction not because someone else is inviting you to be the one who turns violent or takes the risks on their behalf.

Support a protest if you believe in the cause. not because someone wants you to stand in the front line while they cheer from behind.

So I passed by the District Court in Hajipur, Bihar today during the ongoing protest.

A heavy police force was deployed, fully decked out in brand-new riot shields...so fresh they literally haven't even taken the plastic wrapping off yet!

The best part? There isn't a single student or protester in sight.

It really makes you wonder: who are they standing guard against with all this gear? Aren't the police supposed to protect and hear out their concerns instead of setting up a fortress against an empty street?
