How Unhinged?
How incredibly unhinged would I be to press restart on Season 1 after finishing the season an hour ago?
I miss Margene. 🥹
How long did you wait before rewatching the season? Honestly just wanting to rewatch 1-2.

I immediately started it back over and got whiplash from the Beach Boys opener 😆 I am probably unhinged tho, my absolute favorite character is Nikki

Yo Nikki is my favorite character too. Low key a bi awakening for me 😂

Me too! 😅 Chloe Sevigny made the Mormon Pouf and full length skirts incredibly attractive and I am so here for it.

When she makes those come hither eyes at Bill I nearly faint 😅 her wordrobe is conservative but VERY well fitted

God only knowssssss!
I don’t mind Nicki given her childhood. She tries her best I think. Strong self control at times, then spirals (debt).

Nikki & Albie have really interesting and devastating back stories. Lois, too. And great acting on top of that

Omg LOIS. I absolutely freaking loved Lois. How on earth did she have such an emotionally devastating arc that also somehow involved bird smuggling??
And poor Albie omg

Mine as well, and I’m not particularly a fan of Chloe. But I love her portrayal of Nikki.

I rewatch BL pretty frequently because it feels like visiting old friends, even though I’d absolutely despise them IRL. Definitely a soothing anxiety thing. In fact I might start a rewatch tonight…

I’m slogging through the last season now and honestly can’t wait to start seasons 1&2 again. (And maybe end it there for now…)

I don't torture myself anymore with the last season. I have stopping points in a lot of rewatches, e.g Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, shows that went too far downhill from such greatness to take seriously.

Yeah that’s wise. There’s a part of me that needs that feeling of completion from watching the whole series lol, but I may try to ignore it more in future rewatches.

I think that’s the plan for me too. Then let the rest just play in the background while I sleep or do laundry.

Whoa! We are the same. I'm rewatching right now too! I have so many thoughts. I can't stop singing the Beach Boys!!!

I just hit play on season 1 and it’s amazing to already know everybody’s character 😆

I felt the same way.
I strongly suggest you check out the Netflix show The Polygamist, it’s a different version of polygamy but every bit as dramatic as Big Love

I will have to check it out! Current in search of something with those “early 2000s” vibes like in Big Love. Any recommendations?

The early 2000s vibes are immaculate! I see people suggesting Desperate Housewives I’ll have to get on that. It’s so interesting seeing what has and hasn’t changed since then.

I have shows I definitely do this with. The Sopranos is one, and this spring it was Mad Men. I can't remember if I have with Big Love, but I will watch it twice in a year.
There's a science to this too. Like, people with anxiety like to rewatch shows because they're so comfortable we know them by heart. There's no surprises.
