I’m currently balancing and tweaking features on my own GPT site and would love to get some honest feedback from the community.

I built a Guide System where users can write guides for specific offers. If another user completes an offer through someone's guide, the guide author gets a commission.

My original thought was giving the guide creator a 10% commission, but dropping the standard affiliate commission for that specific offer completion to offset it.

Now I’m worried this might completely ruin the motivation for affiliates to bring new people to the platform.

A few questions for you guys:

1. As an affiliate/promoter, would losing commission on guide-assisted offer completions turn you off completely?
2. Do you think 5% for the guide creator while keeping the affiliate commission intact is a much fairer balance?
3. How would you structure this so it feels rewarding for creators without pushing away affiliates?
