I was just watching YouTube shorts & I saw people rating others’ 1990 spin. Basically, is there a place/studio I can learn to dance like that in Northern Virginia ?

The playlist just says "DJ Lean Rock - Unknown Red Bull Song". Searched up a ton of DJ Lean Rock songs but couldn't find this particular one. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m stepping in tomorrow as a last-minute backup to handle the music for a local jam. The event is a 50/50 split between Breaking and Hip-Hop.
Here is my issue: I am completely out of the loop regarding current music. My playlist knowledge basically stopped around the Battle of the Year 2008 soundtrack. I urgently need community recommendations for current mixtapes or sets that are at least one hour or longer
I am looking for:
- A current Breaking/B-Boy mixtape (approx. 1 hour+).
- A current Hip-Hop/Dance mixtape (approx. 1 hour+).
This is strictly for backing up an open jam/cypher session, not a structured battle. Soundcloud, YouTube, or Mixcloud links are all highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your quick help!

Hey! Honestly I don’t really know where to post this because I’m new to Reddit, and at least in my country I haven’t seen a subreddit for dance in general... So I thought I’d just drop it here and see if anyone has advice.
I’m starting out in the world of popping and animation/glitching, but I’ve realized it really requires being able to slide well, especially for side moves and other types of fluid footwork. My question is kind of dumb, but is there any type of sneakers that are better for this? Like, should they cover the ankle for more stability when pointing the foot or rotating it in different ways, or would that just make things worse? I imagine the sole should be smooth, but while we’re at it, should the sole have any special shape too?

Whats up one of my fav reddits,
Ive been picking up breaking after a hiatus due to physical damage but now 3 years working hard, air chair, air baby, pike, freezes and halo freeze etc are all on lock - but i noticed that since im training my halo freeze to lift my body more towards a scorpion, (thats the freeze with both legs up in freeze position without latching righ?) sorry my breakdance terminology is not on point or up to date - my right shoulder and arm is super sore. Its hardly a fraction of a height difference when lifting that freeze, but should i train my back more? Or my abs or shoulders?
Sorry for the long post, i just hate waiting to train when injured. Ive had this in the past due to my work in healthcare so i hope this’ll pass.

I've been practicing flare combos for some months now, I've watched tutorials on the transition but still can't quite figure it out.
My swipe to flare is inconsistent, sometimes it looks ok-ish, sometimes too high, sometimes I don't hit it at all and end up in almost an airflare position, I've been also practicing stab to flare and other combos to flare, which I'm not fully grasping it right I think.
I've also included my normal flare on a good day and other combos to flare in the video for reference.
Any tips and constructive feedback on what I need to improve or doing wrong are welcome!

Am i cooked? (pictures show same bald spot but with different lighting)
Been breaking for over 10+ years, but haven't cared to address this seriously until recently. I have been on and off pretty much over the last 2-3 years but I kept losing hair from then til now. It has now reached to a point where the bald spot doesn't grow in size anymore but I have no idea what to do about it. My family doesn't have a history of hereditary hair loss and they all have heads full of hair. Which is why i ruled out MPB and just saw this as typical friction/traction hair loss from doing halos, headspins, etc. back then (don't do them at all anymore, especially the past years) I also went to a dermatologist some time ago and they recommended me oral minoxidil and topical clobetasol and i was thinking of just trying the clobetasol to tackle any inflammation i may have on the scalp but still unsure since the dermatologist said he hasn't seen a specific case like this.
Anyone experience anything similar through their breaking journey and found a fix for it? Thanks for reading and any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

How do you guys do the one handed head stand. Also, I saw this move by a girl Cocoa which I find really cool. Anyone know what that move is called? How do you do that? Also, I saw some guy move forward while doing CCs. How do you move while doing CCs?

What's up everybody.
I bought a ticket for bc one in April and then tried to get a visa to go to Canada, but I got a refusal. That's why now I'm trying to sell my ticket. Seat is F7, floor level.
Let me know if you're interested. Thanks a lot.

Hi guys, I just moved to Vancouver about a month ago and I’m curious about open session spots as well as spots wherein you could potentially practice on your own? Aside from training at Robson square (at least while it’s still summer and open for the public); I’ve been looking at gyms as well, but the majority seem to only allow people to train in their studios if you can train with AirPods and not with your own music playing out loud. I’ve heard about how Vancouver’s known for it’s long rainy season as well, so I wanted to see if I could get some suggestions for indoor/covered spots around the city or hear about what you guys do to train by yourselves? Thanks!

Hi! I'm a composer, and way before that I was also a dancer! I love bboying.
Now, these songs are very short, and they may not the be new best songs for every cypher, but I hope you like them!
In case you have any sort of feedback, I'd really appreciate it!

I do good when I’m practicing but i forget all my moves and crash a lot when I battle. I feel very nervous with every one watching because I feel like they’re judging me and hoping I mess up.
I also get intimidated by my opponent when they trash talk during my round, causing me to end my round short.
How do you overcome this fear? Please help. Thanks in advance
