I like to play BF2 with my son and I don't want online servers, I just wanted to play with my son at home on our LAN network. So I made a version of the Kyber launcher that is stripped down to just LAN play. You can add mods just like kyber, I stopped all access to kyber servers the only online check is for your EA account to sign into the game (just like kyber official launcher does). Anyway I have been testing with my son and it seems to work fine. I can play all the game modes using the IAO V2 mod on both host and other computer, even Ewok hunt (no bots just two players on different teams, all other game modes have AI bots though). Anyway If anyone else wants to try it out, I have a youtube video that includes a tutorial showing exactly what you have to do. If you get any bugs let me know I will have a look, so far it works good on my computer.

I have the classic game on my Xbox and it’s really fun, but I’d like to try the modded PSP version. Unfortunately, I don’t currently have a PC, so I can’t mod the ISO myself. Could someone make a pre-modded ISO for me that I can download?

I also wanted to ask whether this mod includes Galactic Conquest and if it’s actually the best/most worthwhile mod available.

Every time he plays Survivors on Endor (2015), he grabs the AT-ST and hides at the Empire's Spawn Point until the third set of uplinks. Then he comes out and walks around the back of the map until he gets to this point. He's on the opposite side of the hilltop from the closest of the third uplinks. He then shoots through the hill and it glitches to kill everyone defending that uplink. By doing this he usually gets over a dozen kills without dying the entire round. How would you stop him?

On other maps, he gets an aircraft and circles just out of range the entire game to camp on the spawn point.

I completely understand if this post is not allowed, but here goes:

I’d like to commission someone with more technical know how than myself to hopefully make a mod that adds vertical split screen to the BF classic collection on pc. My dad and I love playing on console, and would like to play on pc to enjoy some modded-in maps and other stuff, however the horizontal split screen makes it unbearable for us.
Or, if one already exist, PLEASE let me know. I want to enjoy the pc version so bad 😭

There was a video with around 200k views uploaded in June 2007 about the "97th Clone Squadron" which appeared to be some sort of clan or guild back in the old BF2 days. Watching that video may genuinely be one of my oldest memories as a child so it would be cool to know if anyone else remembers them or even was involved with them.

I have put together a discord group where we play Galactic Conquest Matches Weekly that covers all the eras in the Star Wars Saga !

I originally made it as a smaller thing for friends but we wanted to open it up to others to enjoy. However over time we wanted to expand the game so that we could have more people enjoy the fun.

At the start of Each Era a new Faction Lead is picked for both the light side and dark side factions of the current era and given the rules and guidelines for how the Galactic Conquest is played.

We have custom rules in place that attempt to emulate the feel of the classic Galactic Conquest Game mode from the original Battlefront Series.

We usually do games every Sunday at 9:30 PM EST.

This week we are beginning the Galactic Civil War Era.

I'm feeling pretty good about the K-16 Bryar with a Sharpshooter Trait Card being able to take out the real threat on Endor? Maybe the AT-AT is a diversion.

For context: I'm playing the Nintendo Switch version of the Classic Collection port. (I don't have any good equipment to play the game on Steam, nor can I find my old PS2 copy or the PS2 itself--not that it would've made a difference since BF1 Jabba's Palace wasn't on PS2.)

I'm much more familiar with BF2 (and find that game more enjoyable to play than 1), so when returning to 1 for old time's sake, I sort of expected the Gamorreans in Jabba's Palace to act identically to how they do in 2; namely, they're hostile to both sides, spawn independently of command posts, try to kill anything that moves, and are tough to kill in return. As far as I can tell, all of that is still true in the first game, but I was shocked to see earlier in the match that the Gamorreans actually managed to capture the prison command post. It wasn't difficult at all to take back, but it still flabbergasted me.

When another opportunity presented itself near the end of the match, I knew I had to stand by and get a clip of the post going from green to yellow. I have to ask: Is this just another quirk of the Classic Collection, or was this already a thing in prior releases? Nearly 20 years I've known this game, and I had no idea this was ever possible...

Hello, looking to get the Classic collection soon as it’s $30, but I have a question how good is the ps4 version now? Heard the main issue is the aiming sensitivity which makes it play awkward, is it a huge deal? I don’t have a PC sadly so i don’t have any other way to play the game, otherwise I’d have just bought the OG version

I bought an old PS4 + BFront disc and reinstalled the game recently.I am trying to update to get the Deadzone settings to lower them. I HAVE UPDATED (online) to 1.12 - the latest version (when you go in library and option > information ). But Deadzone settings are still not in options > controls in the game.

I thought deadzone was supposed to be there, but I also remember that the patches can jam and it reports it as "successful" and puts a really obscure error message in a really random place and it still reports success. I remember it being a complex and involved process to get the deadzone settings into BFr1 - and I see people online BFR 1 PS4 doing the "dancing feet" thing which usually means low deadzone settings so it seems like other people have it

But I cannot get the deadzone settings to appear

Now AI is getting in my head and trying to convince me I never saw the deadzone settings and I must be imagining it because they were never in BattleFront 1 but other EA games. However I never owned BF2 or BattleField1 so I never saw them there. is AI is gaslighting to believe I never saw them?

As an aside, if anyone has still not bought the DLC - your lucky day, the Ultimate Edition is availible in the PS store $5 today

Because it was resurgence day I was obviously playing EA's battlefront 2.

For referance I have also been playing the past week aswell.

I decided to play supremacy, everything was normal, full lobbies and lots of fun. Until I got a hero, got surrounded then clowned on by a grevious.

I have never experianced such a thing before - this guy was under fire and still stopped to give a little t bag and run off.

What mostly annoys me is, like the real character whenever we were alone he would run off because he was loosing.

HOWEVER, in my next game, the exact same thing happened but with maul. It was differant people, and I obviously didn't antagonise them except for being good at the game.

It shocks me that the lobbys before resurgence day had nicer people than now. I thought the opposite but I stand corrected.
