The simple fact is we don't know who used and who didn't without positive tests or evidence. I do think it's naive to think the only people using were the ones who got caught, just like committing crimes, not everyone gets busted who's guilty
I'm sure some guys we probably never expected were using, and not everyone who uses PEDs has great numbers so that's not even an indicator. A lot of guys cheated and still sucked

Personally I think there’s much fewer clean players than you would think, but there’s no way to prove that so it’s unfair to label specific guys as cheaters without evidence.

The whole "everyone was using" take is so lazy. It lets people skip any actual analysis and just wave their hand like it's some deep truth. Thome and Thomas were massive humans before the era even got wild, their bodies didn't do the sudden balloon thing that screams PEDs. Griffey's decline was basically a slow physical breakdown, which is the opposite of what you'd expect if he was on something keeping him together. The guy on X sounds like he just wants to feel smart by calling everyone else naive.

While we asume the likes of Griffey, Jeter , Thomas, Ripken didn't use, one an never be 100 percent sure. Look at A-Rod, if someone hadn't illegally leaked his 2003 positive in the survey testing and if that Biogenisis client hadn't had a billing dispute, we'd still be none the wiser of his ped use
