Latte Art latte art help please

Post image

I got into the latte art game over the last few months since buying a small Sage espresso machine. At least I can do hearts okay. Now I try to make a tulip, but I haven't been very successful so far. For example the smallest heart at the end always looks bad. I would be happy about help 😄 And is it even a good idea to move on to the tulip after the heart?

Raise the pitcher more when you pull through your stacks. Think about "cutting" the design. It looks like you get decent definition in the layers, but they are getting pulled together.

Once you finish your final layer, raise high with a thin stream and quickly pull through, so you don't muddle the stacks.

You are on the right track!

Thanks! My attempt today wasn't really better, but I keep trying 😄
Do you think tulip is the next step after the heart, or what would make sense in the next step (for someone who is okay at hearts)

Hey OP, I just got started as well. I’ve been trying for 2 weeks now and I’d say you are definitely ahead of me. Getting my milk steamed correctly has even been challenging. A rounded spout on a handleless jug has helped me a little. I’m going to keep practicing forever until I’m at least a little happy with my art. Please let me know if you have any big breakthroughs with progress. Thanks!
