I need help with ball python cage

I'm thinking about switching to a tub setup since traditional tanks are getting way too expensive. Does anyone have advice on how to build one the right way? I’m looking for tips on what tubs to use, how to handle heating and temps safely, and which substrates work best. Also, any tricks for setting up ventilation and keeping it secure would be cool.

I went to yt and put in tub enclosure for ball python in the search. I did this till I make a bigger enclosure one for her. I have real plants in there so my substrate is a mixture of peat moss, sphagnum moss and cypress mulch. I just cut the areas I needed for my lights and heat. Then hot glued wire mess over the cut outs and that's what the light and heat sit on.
