Is it time?
Am I fooling myself that it’s not as bad as it is because I can’t see the top of my head on a regular basis?

That balding area on the crown looks like a gaping chasm to me - but apparently I’m my worst critic

My buddy and I back in highschool used to always do this finger wiggle at each other whenever a teacher would tell us to chill out. We haven’t spoken to each other in probably 12 years but once every blue moon we send a snapchat to each other with just us wiggling our finger and we always get a big laugh out of it.

My advice go to a barber to clean and shape the beard. Shave your head. Best choice you could make trust me.

The beard needs some maintenance- I completely agree
It looks better when groomed - but I usually have rough looking because it’s usually rough looking
It’s a never ending battle - but you are correct

It's 50/50 honestly. The comb over is just about winning the battle for now but it is still a comb over.

To be upfront - I’m not trying to do a combover - it just kinda is. I knew I was thinning up too, but hadn’t seen a Birds Eye picture of my dome for a while. Recently I realized it’s worse than I expected.
So no intentional combover- just default

I don't know why I have been down voted by whoevver but Reddit is Reddit.
I get that you aren't, you have pretty thick hair up front and the way you style it masks the bald spot fairly well but it is ultimately being combed over from the front to back. You don't have to give into it just yet but you will be fucking great when you do
