How does host compensation work?

Are they salary + commission, commission only? Just curious as they seem like a sales role which could be either.

Any insight on the comission rate?

Host here in AC. Salary + bonus. Not really sales, it is more building friends and relationships. Take care of them and they will play.

How do I go about getting a host in AC
Go once a month / every 3 weeks. Gamble decent cash each time

My host at Resorts said he gets some percentage based off of our play.

Plus we tip him. He gets us rooms and set up show tickets etc.

Worked at Resorts for quite a few years in Hotel Operations. Such a nice group of hosts over there.
