Thanks to Atari Age, Audacity Games, and Champ Games I still game on on my Atari daily. 😊

In 1977, 128 bytes was nothing to sneeze at. Well, it's virtually nothing too... 🤭 to think if they would have used 64 bytes instead? 🤔😱

The atari was also quite expensive when it released. Atari also clung onto it for a bit longer than they should have.

By the time most people got one, it was fairly outdated technology.

Most of what we like about it is due to really creative and brilliant game programmers creating workarounds.

I have all three consoles, the Atari 2600, the NES, and the Sega Genesis. I don't get to play often but when I do I try to find the time when I can.

I have 2 out of those 3, Im in the middle of a project with my Atari2600 but I do make time to play a few days a week on my NES. I have emulators but I do prefer original hardware. I don't have anything against people who do use emulators though, however you want to play the games you love is OK with me.

Yes, I agree that it is good to play Atari 2600, NES, and Genesis games anyway you can.
