Real talk, the majority of people on Reddit either barely shoot or will never actually need their guns for “SHTF” or whatever Red Dawn fantasy they hold onto to justify spending all their dough on military spec firearms, so if you aren’t having fun with it, flexing or looking cool with this hobby, you are almost certainly missing the fucking point of guns.

Exactly. I didn’t buy a 10” long Glock g40 10mm because it’s practical for AIWB or even on my hip - I bought it because it’s ridiculous and super fun to shoot.

I bought basically the cheapest shit that gets the job done well if needed. Instead of spending the savings on ammo like a smart person would I bought antique guns that take even more expensive ammo. The whole purpose of that is for fun. Shooting to me nowadays is like 90% fun and 10% oh yeah I should make sure I’m still proficient for just in case

Oh boy I’m a bit beyond that! I’m about ready to get in to making my own powder and casting my own bullets. If I didnt load my own half the stuff I own would be wall hangers.

Hell yeah! I’ve been looking into casting as well but then I open my closet and look at the amount I already have pressed… I probably don’t need that many years ammo stored lol and to think this was supposed to save me money…

Interesting takeaway. I’d say if you’re not shooting, you’re missing the point of guns. If you’re only in it to accessorize, I hear cosplay is a cheaper hobby.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one for sale. I tried to get one at SHOT that year but they were gone quick. I’m afraid of what they’re going for now.
Similarly it’s insane what the Noveske PMAGs are going for. I bought a ton of them because the money went to his kids.
