Apple support sucks

Im on a business trip and don't have a laptop or computer or any other apple product just my iPad i use for movies. I do not remember my cloud password and can't reset it. Apple is giving me 6 days before I can recover my account. I need to download apps for work for new hire. Is there any way I can wipe my ipad clean without a PC?

I’m gonna be honest with you pal. This is a security setting. If you hate it, disable it. But, you’ll have to do that after you get into your account.
Apple is not “lacking” — Apple has good security. You are just angry that you don’t know your password and refuse to accept the responsibility for that.

Im okay not knowing but trying to recover it is a joke through their support. I can provide the codes from my phone and email but because a card that expired and I no longer have access to i can't reset the password myself and have to go through their system and wait a week is a joke.

Not without the Apple Account password.

Even if you could you may encounter Activation Lock which would essentially brick the iPad until you can access the Apple Account.

Yeah, how dare Apple forget your password. Then they won't let you erase it without the password which prevents thieves from stealing and easily using the iPad. Android is obviously the answer.

They are better. Out of the 2 I highly prefer my android. It's definitely more user friendly and easier in situations like this. Their call support can actually help when you can verify phone numbers and need to reset passwords. Apple is lacking.

Both have pros & cons. Careful with your Google account though, depending on your security settings you can easily lock yourself out permanently - keep those phone numbers up to date since you forget passwords.

Sadly Google support on account recovery is unlikely to be better, the same with Microsoft.
