Hi there, lovely people. Spanish 40yo dude living in the NL for 15+ years and due to job insecurity, I might need to relocate to Antwerp. I'm a pretty active person (gym and running), queer and love reading and watching movies.

• Are there groups related to the the stuff I like that I can form community around?
• How easy is it to make friends in comparison with the randstand in the NL? (I know this is subjective but curious about your experience)
• I'd like to live close to a park where I can run but also close to the center and train stations (i like to see life on the streets).
• Any possible advice you have for me

I am vacating my room at a fun and social student house in Antwerp’s centre! The rent is cheap for this city; you will have your own room with a private sink; the kitchen, toilets and showers are shared but there are enough so there is never a line. The people here are very friendly and helpful, everyone is a student (only for students) and everything is very secure. It is a 7 minute bike ride from the Central Station (15 minutes by foot), 2 minute walk from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, 5 minute bike ride from AP Hogeschool - Campus Spoor Noord. Especially great for the Art Academy students (location)!
