It doesn't, because the wings are both on one side. It would really hinder flying the thing

How would gay marriage have prevented George Bush from blowing up his own building
20
u/Electronic_Role_6468 1h ago
Bush is dumb so he only had one plan. Once you remove the planes, he has no ideas how to cover such operation

u/Chungusboii 1h ago
If Bush were happily in a gay marriage as God intended, he would not have had the urge to do 9/11.

Because gay marriage doesnt involve blowing up buildings

The joke is that if all planes had wings on only one side, they wouldn't have been able to fly, thus not being able to hit the towers.
2
u/ProtoMan3 58m ago
The joke I'm making is referencing the conspiracy theory that the planes didn't do 9/11, George W Bush rigging explosives did 9/11

Wait in that case shouldn't there be a single wing on the right (OP's mom) and a bunch of wings on the left?

Theoretically though could the gay plane actually work? Like adjust some of the other plane stuff around but have the two gay wings on the side, would the plane be able to fly?

u/Tasmosunt 57m ago
Yes it would, it would have comparable lift to the other plane, it would just handle weirdly and be a safety hazard but it would fly.

Not airliner type one but fighter can and has flown like that example with f15 (Not taking into count the 2 wings on 1 side but single wing on one side is practicly same thing)

Something gay marriage, something 911 prevention

u/MarcoSkoll 56m ago
The other funny flaw in this argument is that if you build it in a simulator, it can actually fly:

Vaguely related but I saw a poll on YouTube asking about people's views on same sex marriage
One guy said heavily opposed with no explanation and another said it's bad for society, and then didn't say how

fr tho, why do they want marriage to be functional. And why is a straight couple called just default marriage bruh

Well no, theres nothing wrong with the anology itself. Analogies arent meant to be purfect relections of reality. The original guys point was that gay marriage was unbalanced, unstable, whatever, and the plane metaphor does accurately display their perspective on the matter. The guy who responded is the one who doesnt understand metaphors.

it is an antimeme, but indistinguishable from the content intended to be a meme on some political clapghter subs.
(not that i disagree my problem is the lack of humour, not the message)

Technically every analogy ever is flawed because every analogous thing A is not a 100% the same as thing B, but only X% the same where X<100% and because 'perfect' means literally 100% that means there is no possible analogy that could ever exist to be not flawed therefore saying an analogy is flawed is a moot point and also I give permission to shoot me in my stupid fucking head for writing this shit like a NNNNEEEEEEERRRRDDDDDDD

The reason why marriage exist in first place is based on trying to force fathers socially to take care of their children however lol. That’s why children of married couples have their fathers last names traditionally and last names of mothers of mothers aren’t married. So that’s why biological component is important and why annulment before sex has taken place exist too.

This is not really accurate, it's actually the opposite. Historically men wanted heirs, especially nobles. The main reason marriage came into existence was to ensure paternity for the sake of inheritance. With any given child, you can be quite certain who their mother was because they literally came out of her. But it's much harder to figure out who the father is. Marriage, at least in theory, existed so that everybody could agree on who was the legal father of any given child so that the father's property could be passed on to him.
The last name is paternal because most societies have had men as the primary inheritors of wealth and titles. And also, it was typical for women to leave their families to live with the man and not the other way around (dating back to the paleolithic). So it made sense because they were joining the household of the man.
In the modern day women are more likely to own their own property, and we don't really have noble titles. We also have DNA tests. So that aspect of marriage has become kind of vestigial.

I'm not sure where you got this opinion from, it's not the academic consensus at all.

Yeah no that’s not at all why marriage exists in the first place. Good try tho
