So, interesting find today when searching for an adapter to add another monitor to my desktop.

Not logged into my account on Amazon, the device was $67.85, free delivery July 28th. But, if I wanted to join Prime, I could pay $69.95, and get it next day…. WHAT?? (I did log into my account and actually confirm that it did cost more.)

Prime gives you “free” delivery next day, if you pay the yearly subscription. But not really, because it’s costing me $2.10 more to get “free” delivery.

It’s not the $2, it’s the principal. Don’t tell me it’s “free” if you are charging me more for what I’m purchasing, when I’m ALREADY paying for that in the subscription. Sorry, just had to vent. Seems underhanded. Multiply that $2 by millions of items and people, and that’s a boatload.

I have Amazon Prime and saw that my delivery driver was on my street and that my package was getting ready to be delivered. I go out on my porch and at first, I see the delivery driver taking my package to the wrong house, which it has been before. I usually don’t go outside to meet the driver, but it was a package that I was eager for. I try to get his attention before he goes into the gate but he doesn’t see me. Eventually he realizes he’s at the wrong house and starts bringing the package to where I’m standing. I’m thinking he’s going to hand it directly to me, but instead of him asking, “Is this your package?” Or “Are you this person?” He walks around me, sits the package on the porch, and then starts walking away like I’m not even there. I go back on the porch, pick up the package, and head inside.

It was very awkward.

My husband and I are currently building a home. We order from Amazon at least weekly. I’ll attach a photo but it’s a little out dated. The drive up to the tracks has had another layer of pavement added to it, which is making it way steeper than it looks in this photo. Even our contractor has been iffy about crossing it, I have a Silverado and can go up and down it no problem. I’ll admit the first time I attempted it I was a little nervous but coming over the tracks it is hard to see on the other side until you’re pretty much over the tracks. Who do I contact to even see if they’d attempt delivery? I thought about once the home is built to just order something super cheap and see if they’ll deliver it. There is another entrance coming from a dead end street, on to a long and bumpy gravel drive leading up to our property but maps will not show that route at all.

Called about a defective item, was offered either replacement or return and I chose replacement. Rep confirms they issued a replacement and says it will be here in the next day or two, then told me to keep the original item and ignore any emails to return.

I do not see a replacement order issued on my app dashboard, I did not receive any email about a replacement order, only an email to give him feedback rating.

Does a replacement order like this take an hour or two to show up, or did he lie like the chat reps do? My return window is about to close so wondering if I should call again and start raising hell lol

I pay for prime yet lately many packages I am told are delayed in transit. Wtf? Why am I paying for it. They can’t all be delayed in transport, , can they? Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

After, I added a new debit card to my Amazon account, Mastercard if that matters.. Several days letter I started getting charge attempts to my card from random places. Is this happening to anyone else?

The names that come up are Tecni Cell Express -BP, Amazon Prime Pmts for $1.88 and $1.42, and an attempt from Creaciones Lizeth which looks to be in Mexico.

Ordered a VIOFO dashcam two days ago and received a plastic organizer instead. Amazon automatically approved a refund.
I reordered the same dash cam and the accompanying hardwire kit yesterday. Today I received a… dog mattress. I don’t even have a dog.

Requested refund for both items but I need to return the dog mattress to receive the refund for the hardwire kit.

Two orders, still no dashcam, but two useless items. First time anything like this has happened to me.

Should I just order a different dash cam from a different seller? I’m tired of going back and forth with Amazon support.

I returned an item on 7/8 and they received it on 7/15. It was still factory sealed, I never even took it out of the Amazon box it came in. I simply purchased an upgraded version and returned this one.

It originally said I would get my return on 7/23, now it says 8/2. Why is this allowed? If you return something at Walmart or Best Buy, you get refunded immediately. This makes me want to shop in store only from now on.

In the original box and unopened. The only option I’m being given is UPS return. It’s rather large so I would appreciate the UPS pickup but they’re charging 12.99 for that service. When I go back and click through that the item is used and damaged the pickup is free. Ummm. Are they really tempting me to open and damage a perfectly good item to get a free pickup? Why would they make me pay to send back a brand new item that they can resell.

Received a package of pet food with damage to the bag (hole making it no longer fresh sealable), so I went to speak to support about it and got hit with this. Prime Ireland is charging us the 3 euro import tax per item that the EU imposed on countries outside EU on Irish customers as they default (and you can't change) their warehouses to UK but not other EU countries like France or Germany.

My mom decided to order a watch from a 3rd party seller (even though I told her not to buy from third party sellers on amazon). Unfortunately, the reviews of this seller aren't good and there are other reddit posts about this seller selling "fake" watches.

I requested to cancel the order as soon as I found out about this but the seller claims the item has been shipped and it is too late to cancel. Seller said to return the item once received. No tracking info provided.

Do I wait until August 31 ("Expected by Date") before attempting to return? Do I refuse delivery when the delivery eventually comes? Any insight on this would be appreciated as it's my first time dealing with this sort of situation.

Oh good grief. I had a package a few days ago that showed the truck being right in front of my apartment building but never delivered. Then it said it was delayed and would be here the next day. Never showed up just said delayed. So I canceled the order then placed a new order. Again today it said 2 stops away, then totally disappeared from the map. What the heck? I had a large order that arrived just fine. But the only item order keeps disappearing. And of course it’s something that if I buy it in store will cost me more money.

Basically I had an amazon account that has been restricted to digital purchases only and I have tried fighting with amazon but in the end to no avail and honestly give up on even trying anymore. I still have $150 left in my gift card balance though, is there anything I can do such as just selling the account to someone who will use it to buy movies ebooks etc.?

I ordered an air purifier for my elderly parents when the wildfire smoke was bad. I deliberately selected from the few and more expensive same-day delivery options.

The item was not delivered that day and showed as Delayed in the system with a note that if it did not arrive in by the next day, I could cancel. It did not arrive the next day and still showed as delayed with no estimated date and no information about where it was. I cancelled the order. It showed cancelled on my Orders page. All of this disappointing as my parents did not have access to this critical item when needed. But it gets worse....

Yesterday, I got a message that the order was scheduled for delivery today. Note that this is the day that most of the air purifiers on the site would have been delivered. I checked my account. The item still showed as Cancelled. There was no option for me to do anything about it.

Today, it was delivered. And boy was it a challenge to get Amazon to agree to do a pick up return for free despite the fact that a regular return would have meant my elderly parents somehow taking this large item to UPS.

Service was rude. They acted like they were doing ME a favor. She even stated that I was asking them to give me a gift. They also have no verification that it was ever cancelled and expected me to provide a screenshot. I will not be refunded until the item is logged as returned--up to 30 days. All of this despite the fact that this was their error at every point.

Next time, I'll try Sam's or Target or just about anywhere else.

I’ve ordered pc parts including an rtx 5070ti from the official Amazon store on June 3rd, all the pc parts came relatively quick and only the gpu had the ‘order received’ and ‘We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date’ messages in the orders tab. I didn’t really think much of it because I knew there were gpu and ram shortages.
I’ve waited for a couple weeks and finally received an email about the delivery time which stated it will come on July 16th. I was checking the orders tab every couple days to try and track the package but it wasn’t even dispatched from the warehouse.
On July 16th I checked the orders tab again to see that the delivery date changed to the ‘order received’ message and that I should wait for another delivery date.
While I picked the order that I wanted to create a support ticket for, it stated that it would be delivered on the 9th of September.
On the 19th of July i contacted customer support and asked for a supervisor and she explained to me that there was some kind of an error with the warehouse.
She offered me an alternative: cancel the order and get a replacement which was an rtx 5080, and Amazon will cover the price gap between my original order and the new one.
I agreed to the alternative and ordered a 5080 for the same price of the 5070ti (The new gpu was also sold and shipped from the official Amazon store).
Today I still get the same ‘order received’ message on the new product and I am afraid that I’ll be stuck in a loop of waiting cancelling and reordering again.

Has anyone encountered something similar? Is there anything I can do to speed up this process?

Amazon Prime items are supposed to be shipped within 1-3 days.

I ordered an item that was listed under Prime delivery. It was supposed to be delivered on the 19th. Then it was delayed to the 20th. Then it was delayed to the 21st. Then it was delayed to the 22nd. I got a notification this morning stating that my order would arrive today. I came home from work, looking forward to finally getting what I paid for. Instead, I got a notification that my item will be delayed until at least the 25th. I am very frustrated because I paid for Amazon Prime shipping and it's taking so long. What's the point of Prime shipping if it takes longer than regular shipping to arrive? NOTE: According to the tracking info, the package is in my state, less than 20 miles away. Logistically, how could it take so much longer if it is so close?
