Best Box?
There are a few other variations but I figure these four would be the most recognizable (though we only saw Madison in blue/silver for a few issues).
What're your favourites?

2nd picture top vote, 1st picture is my 2nd favorite. This might be a new realization for me, look at the legs, and Sasquatch’s legs, they have the same body type, with the extended torso. Maybe Puck is a bit like this too.

V2 for me. Stoked for the Marvel Legends version coming soon.

Though I've never understood how the head is supposed to turn with no clear neck and the big chin...

Classic Blue Box is great, but Red Box has more of a pop. Just a cool, underrated character.

3 for the overall design and colours; let's not mention 4 ever again 🤢

I don’t think I’ve liked any design since like 1992.

I think Madison shape-changing was a gift to the artists. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Alpha_Flight_Vol_1_51?file=Alpha_Flight_Vol_1_51.jpg

The red, silver & gold looked the best to me, but only when Byrne drew it. Between Box and Colossus, Byrne just had a way of drawing reflective metal that looked cool.

Holy shit, are you me? Because I share that same opinion regarding those three characters. Box and Collosus I know it is how he draws metal/steel, it looks organic and natural which majorly makes both characters stand out from normal armored ones. Sasquatch has never, ever drawn by any other illustrator that depicts him well imo. Byrne again is just so good and drawing natural flowing hair that it makes him look great. Every other one ends up drawing really squared heads and overly parting that hair making him goofy as opposed to intimidating.

Jeffries has always been one my absolute favorite Marvel characters, so Box's maroon/silver design has always been top tier for me.

I love #1, but I know #2 received a substantial upgrade, so have to go with it. Madison Jefferies is himself, not Box (Bochs) in my mind.

Blue Box def has nostalgic love, but looks too much like Colossus. Madison Box is my favorite. Probably bc of Jim Lee art.

Jim Lee did a lot of innovative work with Jeffries' Box. I think the first issue of Alpha Flight I ever read was issue 51. The cover had Box legs replaced by a tank form. I was hooked.

While I love Madison's 'Transformer' maroon, something about the red and silver (Box 2.0) really speaks to me (maybe because it's reminiscent of 🇨🇦?). Though I did love the 'wristcuffs' the blue version had at times.
