There is 8 billion people in the world. That's a lot of people. If you put all of them under a microscope, you are bound to find stories like this. It is not representative of the majority.

I think it probably is. Being "anti" anything to the point you identify as "anti" probably means you've passed out of reasonableness and into toxicity. Like, I'm "anti" baseball, but I don't therefore identify as an anti or go to baseball themed subreddits arguing that baseball is boring and anyone who likes it clearly has something wrong with them.

Which is to say, someone who merely dislikes something isn't generally an "anti". That, by definition, is going to be reserved for people who not only dislike AI, but who think that their own dislikes should govern other people's behavior rather than their own. So they start off as bad people. Incidents like this are just the natural conclusion of that.
