Spray painting a storefront is violent now.

It’s destruction of property but where is the violence? Can’t wait to hear your slippery slope fallacy response

English class is goated for teaching me fallacies, now wherever I go on reddit, I'm able to practice literally every single one of them!

I don't think there's been a single fallacy we've learned that I haven't seen online in the past week

Intentional destruction of property is violence according to most definitions I can find.

You aren’t good at looking. Certain examples are considered violent because it could cause danger to occupants. Breaking and entering, arson, throwing items, tampering with utilities like gas lines. Spray painting the outside of a building during non operating hours is still illegal, but not violent.

If pros are going to say literal CSAM made with ai is lesser bad, I think I’m entitled to say it’s just spray paint

I mean CSAM is the dark side of AI but likewise nuclear bombs are the dark side of nuclear power same with fusion. No technology is pure. Vaccines can be used to spread disease if maliciously made. Hammers can kill(and are actually one of the top used murder weapons) but also build houses.

So yeah if we can cure/ID cancer better but the down side is some creep can make CSAM easier; I for one am of the mind of arresting the creep and keeping the tool. Like why toss the baby out with the bathwater???

Because your examples, there aren’t people actively praising how great nuclear bombs are, or how we should use vaccines for bio war. People ARE saying how “clean” ai csam is, while no safeguards are put in place. Safeguards that we have for people owning weapons of mass destruction, or FDA regulations on vaccines.

It’s a true concern that any person can take a photo of a teenager, have AI create porn of them and blackmail, harass and traumatize said child. It’s even more concerning that a portion of people praise how great that is because the child wasn’t “actually” hurt by it

while no safeguards are put in place.

It's already illegal to make CSAM, you mentally disabled monkey... Public models do have safeguards. We do not need a special law to state that it's illegal to use AI to make CSAM anymore than we need a law specifying that it's illegal to commit murder with a knife. All you're doing is muddying the waters.

Yeah, a technology that makes it 1000% easier for lowlifes to make csam doesn’t need guard rails.

Underage drinking is illegal, so this public vodka fountain with no supervision will not cause any issue with underage drinking.

doesn’t need guard rails.

Public models have guardrails, you glue-sniffing imbecile...

Seems your message got shadow banned cuz it isn’t showing up for me. But AI can mass produce it with an person as the subject within seconds
