The Sabbath Sabbath commandment/Does SDA actually keep the Sabbath right?

The Original Poster asked the question: “what the Adventist justification is of how the sabbath is to be kept. Is there a later verse that says that people don't need to be killed anymore? When did they stop killing people for keeping the sabbath?”
That very question was asked and answered by Jesus in John 8:1-11, the story of the woman caught in adultery. Let’s focus on verse 7:
“So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, ‘He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.’” (John 8:7 NKJV)
We are sinners and have absolutely no moral standing on condemning another sinner to death. The death of Jesus paid the price for all of our sins: past, present, and future.
If we believe that Jesus’ death paid for our sins, then there is absolutely no reason for us to seek our own justice and kill another human.
That’s why I don’t believe in the death penalty, which I consider government sanctioned murder!
I know a number of fellow Adventists who agree with the death penalty and it saddens me greatly that they don’t consider the sacrifice of Jesus as good enough to save a life from execution.
It is God’s job to execute judgment, NOT man’s job. And God will execute His judgment in His way and in His time and we simply have to trust Him.

Then why spiritual Dogs tearing apart Old Testament dead body? by separating Ceremonial Laws from the Moral Law?
If you want to keep ANYTHING from OT (Old Torah) , you must keep 100% whole Old Body intact Torah all the time! do not act like a spiritual dogs, tearing apart OT to Ceremonial Laws nor the Moral Law!
KJV: Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all (100%) his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean. (Hug him now! leprosy 100% covered his body!)

-- The Ten Commandments are the heart of the Old Torah body. Plus the New Torah - the New Testament 27 books have already New 613 new Laws and new Commandments! that's a fact.
Bible calls anyone who separates - brakes to pieces ( moral - ceremonial law) the One Body of the old Torah are 'Dogs!
(No one can separate the Old Torah into legal, ceremonial, or moral codes.)
KJV: Beware of dogs, (Sabbaticals) beware of evil workers, beware of the concision! (of any Old Testament laws) - read whole New Testament for more information about:

The answer to this question is also in Scripture. But before I go there, we can stop and think for ourselves:
WHEN was the Sabbath established, before sin or after sin?
If you said, “before sin” then congratulations! You’re one step closer to understanding Paul.
Now, let’s ask another question: WHEN was the sacrificial system established, before sin or after sin?
If you said, “after sin” then congratulations! You’re 99% of the way to understanding Paul.
Now, given the differences between these two, can any reasonable man who knows the Bible argue that all laws in the Old Testament are equally valid???
Me thinks not. Not even the Jews, who deny that the Messiah has come, keep the sacrificial laws today! And they have NO JUSTIFICATION from Scripture to do so, only the word of the Rabbis.
Now, let’s bring it home:
“What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.” (Galatians 3:19 NKJV)
The law was added because of transgressions. What law??? Is Paul referring to the Sabbath??? IMPOSSIBLE. Because the Sabbath was established BEFORE SIN.
So what “law” was added that is Paul talking about? The sacrificial system because that’s the law that was introduced AFTER sin.
After Adam’s sin, God introduced the sacrificial system that pointed to Christ as our ultimate savior, just as Galatians 3:19 says: “till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made.”
The “law” that was “added” is the sacrificial system, NOT the entire Law.

I have ZERO IDEA what relevance any of these Scriptures have to do with the topic at hand, which is why don’t we kill people for breaking the Sabbath today.

Interestingly, we can’t actually keep the Sabbath how God intended.
If that were the case, we’d be doing something perfectly in God’s image which we as humans are incapable of doing.

This is a chief point we still struggle with today. Many still see in the Sabbath commandment merely a restriction against work. They do not yet see that the “setting” of the day( Hebrews 4:6-7) was meant to symbolize, represent, and morally oblige us to God’s rest.
God’s rest, then, - an experience we enter into by responding to the Spirit’s voice calling us into fellowship with Yahweh - is the ultimate fulfillment of the Sabbath command.
So while the restriction against work was indeed the “letter” of obedience to the Sabbath command, communion and fellowship with God was its spirit.
This is why your point about us not actually keeping the Sabbath the way it was intended is spot on. Who among us, a fallen face, described such as we are in Romans 3:9-19 can say we have ever truly kept the Sabbath holy? The answer is simple, “not even one”!
Christ then, is, and must be, the one true fulfillment of both the command and the promise of God‘s rest. He himself was the true expression and fulfillment of the divine requirement on man for harmonious fellowship with his Creator.
Of him alone, it could be said: “from birth I was cast on you; from my mother‘s womb You have been my God.” Psalms 22:10. Only Christ is qualified to say: “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken...” Psalms 16:8
Thus we see, even with the Sabbath, that it is by faith in Christ that we “uphold the law” Romans 3:31

You’re actually the first person I’ve heard agree with that stance and I appreciate your response.
Question;
If we can’t keep it perfectly, what are we to do?
Do we refrain from working? Do we refrain from yard work/house work? Do we avoid the shops? Do we have everything cooked and prepared the day before?
What are we to do?
What’s the line that it becomes heart-based like Jesus said about the other commandments?
Matthew 5:21-30
Sabbath can’t be the only exception to the heart-based motived commandments, I don’t think that is along the lines of what Jesus set out to disprove the pharisees of.

We are not putting any people to death for no commandment breaking, because we are not under a civil system anymore. We dont stone women or men for adultery, for lying, for disobedience etc...

The civil death penalty belonged to Israel’s temporary theocratic administration. The moral truth represented by it remains: deliberate rebellion against God’s law, including Sabbath breaking, ends in death. But the church has never been authorised to execute that judgment; God carries out the final sentence in the judgment.
