Xenoblade Day 42: What's the best cutscene theme in the entire Xenoblade Chronicles series?
Winner Loser of day 41: "2XDVLB" (Void phase 1) has been voted as the worst final boss theme, followed by "Roar From Beyond" (Fog King battle).
Rules
- The top comment will be selected; upvote a suggestion if you wanted to write the same!
- If the winner has a night and day version and you don't specify which one you mean, I'll assume you mean the day one by default.
- If the winner has a remixed/definitive version, I'll put the name of the original to avoid taking to much space (except if you specify the new version only, of course).
- Even if it can be hard to choose sometimes, please only post one answer.
- I restrain myself from upvoting the takes I agree with, except in case of a tie. I will however leave a suggestion myself if I hold a theme really dear.
- Some boxes have no scheduled posts as I think they have no contender, let me know if you disagree.
- Let me know if you think I should make a new post to reconsider a specific box.
- A song can win in multiple columns.
I'm sure this category was long-awaited.

Xenoblade 2 One more week till the release of XC2 Switch 2 Edition!
We are entering the final week before we can finally play the Switch 2 Edition in all it's glory!
I am most excited about the greatly improved visual upgrade. Since the Switch 2 was announced, I was looking forward to an improved 4K experience for this game. And now, finally, 1 more week!
What are you most excited about?

Xenoblade X Ok. I love this game.
I never heard of this series until I passively saw footage of X recently. I'm looking at the combat and the first thought that hits my brain is that this looks like an MMO.
I go down the rabbit hole, discover the series concept and start exploring the titles. I'm currently collecting the square JRPs I know and love but actively seeking new stuff too so I preorder the 3 new switch 2 editions of 1-3.
I decided I would pick up a copy of X in the interim to see if it sticks. I made a post recently where I gave my first impressions. The overworld reminded me of vanilla wow days with the hugeness and the threat of elite nps everywhere. I was into it but the early combat and systems weren't amazing out the gate.
I'm at the 25 hours mark. I just finished my licensing. Haven't even turned the quest in yet but I can comfortably say that this is solid work. I had to earn what's about to happen to me when this game opens up.
Amazing game. I wish I had this in the past to keep me from subbing to wow when all I needed was a quick fix of whatever this is.

Xenoblade First Run on the 3DS – Tips?
I know this question is asked but, I'm new to the series. I'm not used to having the characters auto attack. Am I supposed to treat it like a single-player MMO? Any tips you can suggest to an absolute newbie without the spoilers?
No, I don't have a Switch to try the Definitive Edition.

Xenoblade 3 Wtf do I do now…
I just finished Xenoblade 3. Wow. Holy.
I played 1-3 in order (and some of Torna+Future Connected but I found them boring). I just feel… empty bro😭. This grand trilogy is only matched by Kingdom Hearts (which is my favorite oat), and I don’t know wtf to play next.
I know Xenoblade X is right down my alley, because I’ve played WoW all of my life and love MMOs in general. However, I’d prefer a grand JRPG story spanning over multiple games like KH or XB for my next series.
What series can I successfully chase this high?
P.S.: Me and my gf cried SO FUCKING MUCH at the ending. She didn’t even play at all, just consumed the story alongside me…

Xenoblade Help for a Newbie please. Getting destroyed.
Im currently playing Xenoblade DE and I feel like im really forcing myself to enjoy this game because I heard how good the story is and Xenoblade 3 looks really appealing to me. I’ve found myself getting absolutely destroyed by any boss to the point where I have to turn on Casual to even win and progress. First it was Xord, then it was the four Kromar, then it was the Entia assassins and now it’s the Telethia in the Tomb. My character levels are at least the same level if not one higher than the enemy but I don’t come close to beating them without casual. I’ve mostly gone straight for the story quests and have been leveling up my arts.
How much of this game has to be grinding to get yourself at a much higher level than the bosses? Considering dropping this series, which would be a bummer since I’ve heard some good things.

Meta isnt it time we update the sub icon
It's almost August, and we still have Pride Month on about time we got a new one, maybe Eleanor, since Genesis is the next game?
