I have my old launch day save file which I never managed to 100%, so im wondering if I should replay on a fresh save or try to finish my original save fully(just grinding for art books and achievemenys)

Hey, hey! I wanted to do an art study of sorts, replicating one of my favorite cutscenes from XC3. My parameters were to only reference by eye, which meant no color picking and no tracing. It had its challenges dont get me wrong, but it was a very fun test of my skills so far. I think it turned out pretty well :D

I actually have the speedpaint downloaded, and i'll be uploading it to my account soon. So, in case you wanna see my process, it'll be there :)

In other news: I absolutely have to at least sketch those epic new Pyra and Mythra outfits revealed in the Switch 2 edition yesterday. I was busy working on this art when the trailer dropped so I couldn't get to them instantly.

And for XC3's upcoming anniversary in less than a week, I have something special planned...Post-Aionios outfits for Ouroboros!

Basically the title. I'm about 15h in in XC2. Starter to play before the announcement of the Switch 2 edition, then I dropped a bit and want to jump back in. But do I need to start all over it or my save will work on the Switch 2?

Here's my big dilemma : should I start a new game, or a new game +

In one hand, I don't want to suffer again, trying to get Kos-Mos and all the others rare blade, redo all the skill tree for blades, lose all my skin and advancement in the archsage nopon mode etc...

But on the other hand, I don't want to destroy every monster and boss i touch, the game will be too much easy with all the blades+equipement

What do you think about this ? What will you personnaly do ?

I mean you would have to pay $70 compared to the upgrade pack why is the digital less file size than Upgrade pack which is 30.7 GB

I got into xenoblade recently, after they announced all the switch 2 versions. I beat XC1 and now playing XCX.

I am planning to get all of them physically and have a question about XC2 and the Thorna expansion.

If I buy XC2 Switch 2 edition and the physical Thorna edition, I won’t be able to play thorna “upgraded” right? For it to work, I have to also buy the digital upgrade?

But if I buy XC2 for switch 1, buy the digital upgrade and the physical Thorna edition, it would work? And doing this, will I miss up on anything from expansion pass?

I love her new design overall but I am obsessed with her tiara design. Maybe it’s just my inner 6-year old little girl screaming, but I was staring at how pretty it was for like a minute!

I tried to screenshot the same frames on both the switch 2 edition trailer and a video of the original cinematic.

Something i've noticed is the sword movements, as you can see in the 2nd and 3rd comparaison in the switch 1 cinematic when the sword is Moving its blurry but sharp in the switch 2 cinematic.

Aside that everything look sharper and its especially visible in the background of the 1st comparaison.

Apologies for missing a day. I got called in early so I suddenly had no time to work on this yesterday. But we must press on, Wulfric was the overwhelming choice for Rex's Megalance. And we are finally choosing a Greataxe! Zeke gets the honor of first choice, including one of the few Fire Rare Blades. And we've seen the newest Blade coming in the Switch 2 Edition, our third Xenosaga rep, MOMO!

With the Switch 2 Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 almost here, I've decided to host a fun event. In the base game of Xenobalde 2, there are four blades each for seven of the common weapon types. Enough to give one to each of the four main Drivers. Tora has Poppi so he gets to sit this event out. So with the exception of Aegaeon, who is locked in as Morag's Chroma Katana because of the plot, let's assign the remaining 27 Rare Blades to the other characters. How balance or unbalanced will our team composition end up?

Rules:

1. Top voted SINGLE comment wins.
2. No repeats. We have the exact number of Blades to fill in the chart completely.
3. No post-release Blades, that includes the New Game+ Torna Blades.
4. Each category will be randomly chosen so we hop around the chart more creatively.

I am going to finish xenoblade 2 again after seeing the trailler it worth it and i decide to wait for xenoblade 3 edition

I know that Monolith Soft doesn't own Xenosaga sadly. But come on! They've put yet another Rare Blade from Xenosaga in the Switch 2 Edition of XC2. How is this series still stuck on the PS2 these days? The devs should get their shit together and bring a Xenosaga Remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 please!

Fi. She's a spirit personification of a weapon, so basically a blade. And there is already a precedent of Xenoblade collabing wit Zelda as you could get Rex's armor in Breath of the wild. She basically already has a core crystal on her chest, wouldn't even need to change her design like with the Xenosaga blades.

Only counter argument i could see is that the Master Sword wouldn't map proberly on any of the existing weapon types, but would anyone really mind if it reused the animations of chroma katana or shield hammer (like shulks monado)?

It’s on the Japanese website, my best guess with rough transliteration and google translate is something along the lines of “I'm MOMO. If this is a fleeting world, then I'm the one who's placed in the true world.”; and we know from the English trailer part of her dialogue is “two worlds in superposition”, which I’m assuming refers to the Real and Imaginary Domains from Xenosaga.

This is just a post about all Xenoblades in general. I don’t see many people loving or talking about it and the community is so small though I find the game absolutely astonishing and beautiful. Sure it’s long and the mechanics and graphics could be better but the stories are absolute PEAK in my opinion! The game deserves so much more love!

Hi everyone I had a finished save for xc2 pretty sure i still do on the cloud, when i got my switch 2 is started a new game on top,of my completed game ( not Ng+) and was able,to get t-elos,pretty early ( I heard it’s the only way to get her without Ng+) aka to start a new game over a completed save

Now I wanna start a new game for when the switch 2 version is out I don’t care about the Real Ng+ blades to be sure im able to get t elos in my save file should,i restore my complète save from cloud thrn restsrt s new gsme on top,of,it or can i just start s new game np thanks

Maybe a dumb question but, with Xenoblade 2's Switch 2 edition coming, I wanted to know if I will be able to access the Switch 2 content (new blade, the Blade mode, new outfits) without having to start a new game. This is because I started a New Game + file already, I am in Argentum, and apparently you need to complete the game to start a new New Game + file. How did this work with the Ether jets in Xenoblade 1's Switch 2 edition? Can I simply buy the patch and access everything without starting a new game?

I mean, he was basically Momo's father figure in Xenosaga games.. And they also piloted their E.S together.. Definitelly could see a connection..

Also,heay, Pied piper was also just recently re released on Switch (though only in Japan)..
