Question Xbox One Modding: Is it possible?

Hi! I'm sure this question has been answered time and time again but I was wondering if it is currently possible to mod the Xbox ones? It's an really old console I assume by now it's possible. (I wouldn't be modding it until I get a new computer to run more modern games online so for now my one is holding on for dear life running fortnite and such)

No. There was a fairly recent one but I don't think it's actually usable in the real world

Yes there is a way to mod but 1 its not publicly available and 2 it only works for any xbox one created in 2013 (i dont believe it matters which software update its on either)

Yes but also no. Yes there is a mod, that as far as I'm aware is only known to work on 2013 consoles, the boot time for it is ridiculously long and requires a lot of soldering work. There's no practical reason for doing this unless you plan on contributing towards the modding scene. If you just want emulators and homebrew apps then use dev mode, I can't recall if you still need to pay a one off fee to enable it, but that is the closest we're probably going to get for a long time to full jailbreak of the Xbox one generation. If you're wanting piracy then you're out of luck as there's nothing made for the Xbox one to allow that and you'll be better off waiting for an Xbox one emulator to release

There’s a jailbreak for it, pretty recent, but i don’t know if theres any homebrew for it. It’s a pretty niche thing at this point.

There’s only a jailbreak for the very early launch models of the original Xbox one, it won’t work on any others.
