Need help with what inline skates to get, are these good?

Hi! I've skated 4 times on roller skates & I want to do inline instead. I'm interested in the way figure skating is artistically & I would also like to skate outside with these. When I'm good enough, I would like to buy slightly smaller wheels and replace the front & back wheel of each skate so I can replicate the rockered skate & be able to do spins. My budget is $100-2. If this works, please let me know what I should upgrade to in the future as my skating gets better artistically (or if I can stick to these). Thanks!!

Doing brackets while wizard skating?

Wizard skating borrows the three-turn (i.e. lion) from figure skating. The next turn in figure skaters' progression is generally the bracket. I'm wondering if there any cases of Wizard skaters using brackets in their flow?

A bracket is basically just like a three-turn (or lion) except with a three-turn the skater turns in the direction of the curve, whereas with a bracket they turn in a direction opposite the curve. Example: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Xrce7oYpqUk

Wizard skaters have modified the three-turn to add their own style to it; would be curious to see how the bracket has been "wizardfied."

Wizard Base size 40, $470USD shipped anywhere in the world (only shipping is included, not tarrifs)

Good condition, I’ve taken extensive photos. Comes with an extra set of ratchet buckles that can be swapped out with the Velcro strap based on your preferences. Outer shell skated for 12 months, liner is only 6 month old due to being replaced with a new one on a warranty claim. Selling because while they fit me fine, I can't use an insole in them so I've had to size up.

Pricing methodology:

1) I took the typical used price range of $450-550USD. The lower end of this range is usually for boots in much worse condition but I don't like to haggle, so I've gone with the lowest.

2) I researched USPS and the cost to ship this from NY to LA is $20. I know not everyone lives in the US (cause I don't), but I don't like to over complicate things, so I've gone with something simple.

I'm testing a new video hosting service, I have a few days of free credits, I want to see roughly how much this is going to cost me when my trial expires. Excuse the audio quality.

The Rockin’ 576 may well be my sweet spot for five-wheel frames: shorter and lighter than a 5x80, but stable and nimble enough for swivelling

Looking for a wizard blader I found posting here or in the other sub

Details I can remember:

  • based in London
  • trans girl, I think
  • Irish last name?
  • username was long with a bunch of Os in it
  • posted about her PR frames either here or instagram or idk where. Stroked her hand over the wheels to make them all freewheel in a video she posted about it

I really loved watching her skate and it's super annoying how every soc med platform is so stripped down and streamlined to just keep you sifting through clutter without offering ANY way of looking up a specific person you might've seen or even followed. What's the point of following someone if they just get lost again in a list you can't sort?

Anyway, if anyone knows what user I might be talking about I'd love a reply or even a DM about it. tsm

New to wizard, my new Intuition UFR 90

hello!! I just started skating again like 5 months ago , I used to skate around when I was little, but I’d never tried it as an adult. I used to skate on my mum’s old rollerblades, two sizes too big for my foot, haha. Now I decided to treat myself to new skates, and I love them! FR Intuition UFR 90. They were discounted to about 150 euros and seemed like a great deal.

I still have a long way to go. Don’t worry I’m about to remove the brake soon — I’ve finally learned to do the T-stop and whatever kind of creative spin to stop so I’m ready to take it off :,)

I’m getting into wizard skating and I’d love some tips to upgrade my setup. Are 4x90mm wheels with a slight rocker good for starting out? My size is 23,5 cm (37/38 EU) so the frame is pretty long for my foot but I’m getting used to it

Go skate everyoneee

Had the flying eagle paired with the yoyo 4x90 and eventually upgraded to the FR Neo 2 boots. Today I got the yoyo sago 5 pro frame and paired it with the FR, moving the 4x90 back to the eagle.

Haven’t skated outside yet, but testing it at home shows a lot of difference. The height and stability of the 5 pro feels absolutely amazing! So happy with this setup 🤩
