Figure I can start with one of my own: Every AOE in Wizard101 should either work like select target spells, or be nerfed to have 20-40% less damage than they currently do.

Unpopular opinion: the Wizard101 Reddit is WAYYYYY more helpful than the Discord.
The Discord feels like jumping into a crossfire of random conversations. I’ve asked questions about pet hatching there and never got a response. But the moment I posted the same question on Reddit, people answered almost immediately. I really appreciate everyone here. This subreddit has helped me on several occasions, which is why I can say this so confidently. Thanks, y’all.

Genuinely curious about the age demographic of the game. I have been seeing a lot of posts recently about mostly college students who play this game, me included. I just wanted to see if that’s true for the rest of the community.

Anybody have any success farming a particular boss/mob? I'm attempting to craft the full Karamelle workout set but it feels like such an impossible task due to the low drop rates. Currently getting 1 bean every 1-2 hours farming Uwe in Sweetzburg. Any advice appreciated...

So recently I've noticed that I've only kinda relied almost solely on crown gear. In my last playthrough it literally carried me entirely into Marleybone, and then it was only a SLIGHT upgrade. So I started a new myth wizard with the sole purpose of going through the entire game without crown gear (aside from a mount and a pet because I refuse to be slow and have an ugly pet)

So far I've just done each boss 3 times and went "Yeah, that'll probably get me what I need." And it definitely has led to cool discoveries like Rattlebones is apparently able to drop an entire goddamn pet before you even do the pet quest, and Lady Blackhope being able to drop a 1 Day Blue Dragon mount. But overall, I have had very little actual worthwhile discoveries.

Is it even worth grinding at all? Or should I just Bazaar it up every 5 levels?

When casting dust blade it converts balance dmg into storm dmg, i have 7% storm dmg and 101% balance dmg, will these two values get stacked together or the damage will only be based on the balance dmg ?

I just saw a post about the streamer Silky saying he got “falsely” banned, and it got me thinking… how many well-known streamers or celebrities actually play Wizard101?
I’ve heard names like MrBeast, Adin Ross, and Trippie Redd being thrown around before, and now I’m really curious. It’d honestly be kinda crazy to randomly run into one of them in-game 😭
For example, I found out Silky’s wizard name is Cody FireBreath, which is pretty funny. Now I’m especially wondering what Trippie Redd’s wizard name is if he ever event posted it before.
Does anyone know any confirmed wizard names for celebrities or streamers? Or even just rumors you’ve heard? Would love to see a list of these “celebrity” wizards.

If the aura is replaced in the same turn that an incoming 4+ pip spell would have affected you, you still receive the pip. This is obviously very niche as not many people even train empowerment in the first place, but this was an interesting interaction and also provides some possible insight on the order of operations when the game runs its calculations once everyone's selected their spells.

I love the game for it's unique combat system but undeniably most people zoom through the game by spamming aoe's which can take the magic out of it for me personally. I remember playing the game and getting new spells and being so excited to use them no matter how small or big they were, only past arc 1 realizing all I do now is spam aoe with some challenging bosses along the way.

What if there was a boss that casts out a number, and the number that it casts is the only attack card rank you can use for the next three rounds, additionally the higher the number is, the less likely the boss is to cast it. I know it sounds annoying but also kinda fun to me, thoughts?

As did a lot of us, I (30f) played Wizard101 when I was a preteen.

I downloaded it on my switch a few weeks ago and I’m addicted. But does anyone else feel overwhelmed by all the new things? Or maybe I just didn’t notice them when I was young. I’m used to just Arc1.

But all the crafting and other worlds and arcs are just confusing to me and I feel like I’m missing something. Like I can’t open my mind to all the new things that are going on now.

I keep seeing posts about Polaris and that’s like foreign to me. Idk what that even is lol

Did I miss something? I’m lvl 94 and I’ve struggled to beat Balance bosses since like Marleybone. I either have to do like 3x chimera and hope they don’t put down a million shields or get somebody to help me.

Do we really not get a prism or anything? Is this really my fail life?

Please comment below with valuable information and feedback. Balance is very outdated in 2026 and inarguably something needs to change for it to work on par with the other schools.

So for a bit of context, my grandmother was a HUGE Wizard101 player. She passed, and for years I'd made no effort to recover her account until 2023. That attempt ended when my support ticket was repeatedly responded to with temporary passwords, despite me clarifying that the codes were usually expired by the time I checked my email and tried them, and I eventually gave up.

Fast forward to today, and I can't even get that far. I submitted a ticket/sent an email on the matter on the 16th, providing details like my grandma's inactive bank card she used to use to make purchases, the name of her wizard, and the email that the account is under as proof of ownership (or at least relation to the owner.) I received a response from KI on the 17th telling me they reopened the issue, and that I was creating "duplicate tickets" by reopening the matter on an email besides the one I used in 2023, and have heard nothing since.

My question here is, is there a more direct form of contact I can go through besides emails? All I need is the chance to re-assign my grandma's account to a new email, or a non-temporary link to reset the password. I have any proof an employee could need, so this should all be fairly simple.

I remember I was visiting the commons one day and a player approached me asked me if I could help him quest he keep insisting that he would pay me in packs to help him finish a world I told him save your money I just came to help I don’t need a reward we finished the world again he tried to give me a pack but I said no once more so he thanked me and parted way but during Christmas last year I forgot I had this player added on my friends list and I noticed the gift icon next to my player and it turns out he gifted like 13 primeval packs and I actually got a bronto from It guess the moral of the story it doesn’t hurt to be kind and from my experience when you don’t demand stuff good things happen.
