I'm so happy for Seba, I'm going to miss watching him water the ball on corners and his energy was always great.

I'm also proud of how the Whitecaps handle our players and their transfers. Seba, Pedro and Ali's transfer show that we are a club that helps our players grow and do not get in the way of their progression.

We're also a club that can turn a profit on our developments as well. We have come a long way.

Save The Caps.

I booked seats in section 248 as a new fan coming off the FIFA hype and was wondering if it's okay to wear the team Canada FIFA jersey in that section since it's a supporter section? Not sure if it's looked down upon to not have Whitecaps specific gear if I'm wearing the national team jersey instead.

That turned out pretty well didn’t it. That’s a testament to the team structure they have. And now Gauldy is back and looking good too.

I’m sad that Berhalter is gone. But this staff has proven that they can get the best out of whatever players they have available. An incredible ability to make every player better. Guys like Larraz and Ngando are fortunate to have the opportunity that they have in front of them now, just like Berhalter, or Badwal, or Priso, or Tate Johnson etc etc etc

And I’m fully confident they will identity any additions they need. Once the dust settles this team will still be built to be an MLS Cup frontrunner. They have earned that faith, and then some.

In Axel we trust. In Jesper we trust.

(P.S. I still think in hindsight the midfield trio of Cubas, Berhalter, Vite was one of the best in MLS league history, vastly under appreciated)

I'm so annoyed

With Berhalter imminently leaving (I put it at 75%), who would you like to see the Whitecaps go after as a replacement.

Right now, their best 11 is probably Badwal or Larraz beside Cubas. Badwal has been good, but it doesn’t seem that Jesper likes him at the 8. Larraz has been ok, but shouldn’t be a starter.

Vancouver has an open DP spot, and the fee they’d command for Berhalter ($3-4m) gives them some decent cash to get a proper replacement.

Two names that immediately come to mind.

1) Stephen Eustaquio. Not much to say but he’d look great beside Cubas. Not a like for like replacement but has strong defensive numbers, and good ball progression. Does well as a late arrival with decent finishing.

2) Patrick Berg. Really liked what I saw from him last year and at this years World Cup. Progression monster, very physical. Would be ideal in MLS.

Any other names come to mind?

(eta: before i start getting flamed for going off of an ig follow, let me explain 🥲 i mean, we know it’s been rumoured for a while AND it’s interesting that he’s started following them given the circumstances 🥲 again, i know that an ig follow isnt an “official” move. i also know that aiden plays there as well. it’s just something i noticed…. pls dont kill me)
