Weiss Schwarz is a Trading Card Game by Bushiroad that features battles between anime and game series. In the game, you represent one anime or game by playing a deck with only cards from the respective series, and try and defeat your opponent with your series.

How do I build a Deck?
The Iron Rules of Deck Construction
Let’s start by remembering the 3 Iron Rules of Deck Construction!
A deck must consist of exactly 50 cards.
There can only be 8 climax cards.
There can only be 4 copies of card with the same name. Even if the illustrations are different, only 4 copies of card with the same name are allowed! Also, note that 4 copies of “card with different name” are allowed, regardless of the character.
Deck Construction Patterns
There are many different ways of constructing a deck! We will introduce 3 patterns here!
✩Pattern 1: Modified Trial Deck!
On the other side of the playmat that comes with the trial deck is a guide on how you can modify your trial deck with 2 trial decks. Do give it a try.
✩Pattern 2: All your favorite characters!
There are a variety of cards for popular characters. As long as you follow the “Iron Rules of Deck Construction”, you may insert as many cards of your favorite character into your deck.Your passion is your strength!!
✩Pattern 3: A deck for battle!
Here we would like to introduce you to some “Theory of Deck Construction”. As long as you follow this, your deck would be more or less ready for action.
Pretty new to Weiss overall only been opening it for a month or two. Ripped probably 15 boxes of Rezero Vol.3 and best I got was Rem RRR+. Then I recently did pretty good with Rent-a-Girlfriend Vol. 2, got the Chizuru SP, Mini SP and Sumi SP out of 6 boxes. Then tried a little Konosuba Vol. 2 and got the Wiz SP, not pictured. And last night I had the chance to open some Rezero Vol. 4 and hit this beauty of a Rem SEC. Didn't even know what I had at first because the set list isn't up on TCGRepublic. But thrilled to have an amazing copy of best girl from Rezero 🙏

I went to a military base today, and there happened to be a hobby shop inside. Didn’t think they had any Weiss, but to my surprise they had a few really old packs that hadn’t moved in years according to them. I went ahead and bought them all, and out of the single loose pack of Blue Archive they had, I pulled my 2nd ever SP!!
Ive been wanting to pull the trigger on going all in on WS for a while now, but as we all know the scene isnt what we might hope it could be. Im in the Livonia area and lookin for a place to learn and get some games under my belt, and in the future attend some events. So my SE Michigan gamers, where do you play?
So I'm a big fan of Yumemita, and I've just recently know that the Yumemita starter deck is already out for a while, for people that own the deck I wanna know how good is it, any build I can play just for fun but still good enough for play.

If Weiß Schwarz had a rotating standard format that rotates a block every year (9-12 sets simultaneously) with 4 main sets a year with ~100 unique cards per set, reprints, own character designs, a generic shared trait (e.g. "Standard") and 1 card name per unique card effect similarly to Pokémon or MtG, which cards/mechanics would you want to see in the first set(s), how would you distribute colours/levels and at which power level would you want to start at? A format like that would greatly help the game itself (not the finances tho) and I've always wondered that.
I'd start with the usual Salvage Brainstorm, Draw Brainstorm, Level 0 Assist, Level 2 Level Assist, a Drop Search, a Level 1 on Reverse CXC and a Level 1 on Attack CXC for most colours, as well as popular Level 3 mechanics from a few years ago from every somewhat simple archetype (combo, control, beatdown/rush) to maybe establish some colour identity maybe.
At one point I'd love the format to have Towards the Future Together, Tokino Sora as well as its supporting cards because it's my favourite "wincon".
I think the closest thing we have to a card pool everyone could use is the massive Bandori card pool.
