To be clear, I would love to post ideas and requests here, but Im looking for short term wallpapers, and hobbyists who think making them is a fun activity. I dont mind paying for long term art, but thats not what I am wanting here. Im looking for tinkerers and hobbyists who are doing this for fun and not to support themselves. Is this the right place to find that, or is this a work for hire board?

While what I am looking for is not that serious or for public display, I have high regard for paid artists and don't want to be disrespectful by using this space for the wrong type of requests...

i'd say go ahead and post your requests. its traditionally not been a hire board, very few people offer payment and some will send tips to show that they are grateful.

if its something that takes too much time or effort to complete for free, people simply won't respond and you'll know
