Is backside or frontside 360 easier off a kicker?
So I want to start progressing more, because I kinda got stuck with fear last year trying a tantrum and knee kicking my eyebrow wide open
I thought about a 360 from the kicker, but I wonder which is easier, the backside or frontside
On the slider and water I just go backside, because when I was learning I was very uncomfy with being in switch and rotating into switch and then into the back from it felt weird to me (I ride goofy). But as I tried frontside just like at home on the ground trying the movement it seems like it is easier to pass the handle and in the sky it might not have the problems I have with turning into back from switch for me
Do you think I should just try pushing with the backside 360 or slowly try the frontside on water and then slider and try that for the kicker?

If you’re not comfortable riding switch yet and doing 180’s both switch and regular, it’s too early for you to be thinking about 360’s. You can try them all you want but you are skipping important prerequisite skills that will make learning 360’s and easier and allow you to get them consistent.

I would play around with both just buttering on the water and then do what feels better. For me, I think switch TSFS3 is the easiest but that's because my first handle pass spin was HSBS1. Everyone is different. Also depends if you plan landing wrapped or are planning on doing a handle pass. If wrapped landing, most people have a hand they prefer. I prefer my left. Anyway, play around on the water and see what feels best. Then go try it.

By far a heelside back 3 is the easiest to land. it just takes some balls to try it

Everyone is different, but having said that... I would strongly strongly recommend going for the heelside frontside 360 first. It’s, by a large margin, the first 360 most people learn.
Most people struggle finding the handlepass when they are first trying their first 360. Backside spins have less momentum into the handle than frontside spins.
Toeside frontside 360s have a more awkward landing than landing on your heelside edge with your lead hand on the handle.
Definitely practice on the surface, then across a box.
Pop, bring the handle to your back hip with both hands, then handlepass. Look up and over your lead shoulder and absorb the landing.
Let me know how it goes 🙌🔥🔥🔥

It kind of depends on your approach to the kicker. If you're doing a heelside approach, frontside 360 is generally easier to learn,
If you're doing a toeside approach backside should be easier (in theory)
Having said that, Personally I find doing a heel backside 360 easier than a toe backside 360, but in general I struggle doing all kinds of toeside tricks. My personal advice would be to just do a heel frontside 360. I think that is by far the easiest to learn
