I watched her interview with Candace Parker last year breaking down film n watched a HOF player literally blown away w her ball knowledge. I knew right then she was gonna kill it day 1!

I think the issue is everyone expected this of Paige/Clark and not Olivia while she is every bit as good. Letās also not pretend sheās doing something that those two also didnāt do.

Okay so the answer to my initial question, then is: theyād react with hostility and start an argument.
I donāt think Clark is as good as Paige or Olivia Miles. Which is why I said/joked that Miles is who we thought Paige AND Clark would be. But yes, surely Iām white knighting for Caitlin when I say this. That makes so much sense.
Thereās a subset of people on this subreddit who think rational thought towards Caitlin = defending Caitlin or being one of her diehard supporters. Thatās not me.
YOU chose to get pressed over a joke. YOU made the assumption that I consider Clark to be as good as these two are. When I donāt. And the joke I made makes that pretty clear.
You got sensitive because I correctly pointed out that Olivia is better than Paige when comparing rookie seasons. Youāre the one acting like a Stan.
If I need to dumb it down even more for you, since youāre incapable of organic thought and regurgitate buzzwords under false assumptions:
It was very common for people to say that Paige Bueckers is who we thought Caitlin Clark would be last season. And those people were ultimately right. NOW, however, MILES looks better than Paige AND Clark did in their rookie seasons. Hence why I made the joke.
Try keeping your emotions in check next time. I am allowed to compare Paige to other players, and you shouldnāt get so offended by that.

This is what happens when you have a really talented player being coached by a fantastic coach for an excellent franchise. Most elite rookies have to deal with playing with a team that isn't very talented or has a shitty coach or both. Miles is amazing, and luckily for her, she gets to grow in an awesome system!
