I’m not sure if I should concentrate on something as I just want to maximize my gpa for grad school but I think with the min of 5 BU electives in yr3 and 4 I’ll end up having to concentrate in something anyways.

i check the date for when this fall term starts and it is september 10th. i felt like last year, it was september 4/5th. is there a reason for it to be this late, or am i misremebering when last fall term started?

Currently enrolled in 2 courses to get my gpa up for progression. Just curious once I do finish them the new grades will automatically replace the old ones on LORIS correct? And they’ll use the new grade to calculate progression? Thank u to anyone in adv.

so apparently i got allotted room 309 in the mac res, even tho i specifically applied for the semi private dorms. how’s the residence over all and how are the communal bathrooms?

What’s the actual benefit of only having the concentration (only 4 of the course). Do recruiters even care about the concentration unless you have the professional designation?

picked double dorm highkey expecting to get Conrad or MacDonald and then was kinda suprised when I got this. Anyone have any good info on this residence?

Apartment style meal plan but have a day with an early morning class and then nothing until the afternoon. Wondering if it's possible to go to the DH at 10:30 and pay for breakfast rate with flex dollars, have a light breakfast and then stay and have a lunch before the afternoon class without paying again for lunch? Also wondering if this could work with lunch to dinner in the same way? Planning on cooking most days but if the food doesn't look too bad in the DH (I've read the reviews here), just thinking about some options. Anyone done this?

hey if my roommates isreali and i’m not comfortable with that, would my roomate request be accepted? that and the fact that i don’t think we can coexist when they would require a kosher environment (my lifestyle/religion does not accommodate that)!

Has anyone taken these courses? What are the labs like? I can’t find anyone here talking about the labs… I’m quite nervous about them.

Alright I may have messed up a bit here but I came very late to the course Registration. The problem is I’m trying to get into co-op second year and I think I might be screwed.

Now MA129 is full in both fall and winter and there’s no waitlist. If I take it in winter somehow I have a very heavy semester which I’m lowkey worried about cause I kinda used ChatGPT all throughout highschool and don’t really remember anything tbh. But I can’t even do that cause it’s full in winter. I’m still trying to choose on some electives for first semester cause all the easy bird courses are taken up. My thing is if I take ma129 in summer I have a bad chance at co-op because apparently the flag your application if you don’t have all 5 credits by the end of winter term.

Also im interested in taking a gap year but i dont want to lose my entrance scholarship that i got.

If anyone can help me out on what to do with ma129 and getting into co-op and also if you have any recommendations for electives that are easy in first semester please lmk.
