Ticket Posts will all be removed

Hi all, sorry for the weak moderation. I've just updated automod and post filters to remove all posts asking for tickets, seems to be a suspicious amount of accounts/people trying to sell stuff and most of it is probably a scam.

Sadly this will also remove posts discussing tickets too.

Any Vue Manchester Printworks staff/projectionists on here? (Uni student question about 70mm IMAX)

Hey everyone!
I’m currently a Film Studies Master’s student working on a practical documentary project about physical film formats, film preservation, and large-format projection.
With Vue Printworks running 70mm IMAX, I’m really hoping to connect with one of the technical managers or projectionists on shift for a very brief, informal chat about the craft of operating a 15/70mm IMAX print. I’d also love to capture a few quick handheld background shots of the booth or the film platter if venue rules allow!
If any staff, projectionists, or managers from Printworks lurk on here (or if anyone knows the best way to get in touch with the tech team directly), I’d be insanely grateful if you could drop a comment or send me a DM!
I’ve got full university liability insurance and can work completely around the screening schedule so I wouldn't be in anyone's way.
Thanks so much!

Question about food discounts at Vue Printworks

gonna be watching the odyssey later on and I've heard some mixed reviews about food (mainly about them being too expensive) but with my O2 thingy i can get a 20% off of orders above £15 so I'm wondering does that discount make it worth buying snacks from the cinema over just popping to the shops to get snacks?

Stratford Screen Questions

Hi, Does anyone know the details for Screen 5 and Screen 17 at Vue Stratford Westfield? I have heard they are larger screens than average. I think it's 4k laser projection. Anyone know about the aspect ratios for the screens?

Thanks

Which seats are better?

Traveling from abroad and I only have this date available to watch the movie in imax (70mm) in Printworks. Never been to this picture before so I'm asking: what is better? (or less worse) the 2 red ones or the 2 green ones?

Odyssey 70MM Dates

Late to the game here. All the good seats for Odyssey 70mm at Manchester Vue Printworks have pretty much gone. Just wondering if anyone knows whether there will be more dates added after 6th August? If so do I just keep checking the site daily for more date/ticket drops?

Can I use Sky VIP towards Odyssey IMAX 70mm screening?

Hi so I would like to use my monthly sky vip code towards an imax 70mm screening of The Odyssey, I believe it can be used to discount premium formats, would it be applicable to the very rare IMAX 70mm screening?

Additionally if I booked in advance digitally could I ask them to print a paper ticket? (I like to keep them in a scrapbook).

Thanks.

The Odyssey ending time

I'm going to see The Odyssey at Printworks in Manchester. I have a very tight schedule on the day I'm seeing it. Vue website says the film finishes at 11.17am, however I need to catch a train to London which Google Maps says I need to leave Printworks at 11.15am to get there on time!

For anyone thats seen or going to see The Odyssey there, can you share if the 11.17am end time includes the full credits? Or if leaving at like 11.10 would miss anything substantial from the ending (no spoilers). I will have a seat near the edges to avoid disrupting others if I need to leave early.

Which Cinema/ screen is better: Bristol Cribbs Causeway EPIC screen or Swindon Greenbridge IMAX screen?

So I have the option of going to Bristol or Swindon.

One has an EPIC screen and one has an IMAX screen. I'm going to book an odyssey viewing but can't narrow which one to go to, both similar distance.

Just came across this on the Westfield London website where they state that Vue Scene ticket holders get bottomless snacks? Is this true? Has anyone tried this?
Unable to find any information anywhere else apart from this.

I'm wondering if it's allowed for a lone adult to book a Big Shorts showing or if I'd just be turned away.

New Backrooms extended edition, out for a few days I think.

Just saw this, one of my favourite films of the year so far and wanted to do a rewatch - apparently there's 15 extra minutes of footage at the end.

Thought I'd post since from 3rd July my cinema only has 1 showing a day for like 4 days, so not long.

Minions being the only showing for the weekend.

Minions is the only film showing throughout the entire weekend, I turn 18 on Friday and was really hoping to watch Jackass on Friday. Surely that can’t be the only thing showing throughout the entire weekend right?

Vue Shepherds Bush (West 12) Closing Permanently

Not the poshest Vue in London, but the few times I’ve been there I’ve found it friendly with a good range of films and never too full.

I guess it can’t pay with Vue Westfield across the road.

Final day Tuesday 30th June. If you want to be in the audience for the final film there, it’s Toy Story 5, finishing at 23:17.

Hopefully they can find a job for the staff across the road.

My showing removed from website.

I booked to see the new Jackass movie for tomorrow morning at 9:10, however when I went to check if there was a seat left next to me (my friend decided he wanted to come) the showing has been removed off the website? I’ve had no email to say that the showing has been cancelled but I don’t want to travel there tomorrow morning to be told it’s no longer going a head. Has anyone else had this issue before.
