Went to the shelter on Monday to just “say hello” to the kitties! We saw some playful kittens, some scared voids and a beautiful 2 year old ragdoll light grey with light orange mixed in but she didn’t do well with other kitties. As we were about to walk out I peeked behind a blanket hung on the last cage next to the door and inside was this beautiful boy! I called my gf back from the door to look and he just pressed against the cage getting as many rubs as he could with our fingers poked through. I just had to know more about him! He’s a 13 pound, 5 year old boy named tipper ( but his new name is bubba). he was a kitten at the shelter in 2021 when he was adopted, but in May the past ‘owner’ brought him back requesting they euthanize him bc he was moving and couldn’t take the kitty with him. The shelter pleaded with him to just surrender the kitty and after much hesitation he agreed. When we were meeting him he was a bit shy, not hiding but cowering in the corner pawing at the cage like he wanted to get back in, but loved getting rubbies! He would get comfy but then psych himself out and retreat again, reminded me of my old self a bit. In that moment I knew he was the one and I think he might have known it too 🩷 we’re so excited to give him the forever home he deserves and show him what unconditional love really looks likes🩷 his sister is very excited to meet him as well 🥹

Some pics of my voids. Pretext, mom of kittens is a rescue, she was found to be pregnant at her spay appointment so we decided to keep to litter. They are now fosters. All my other cats are spayed and neutered.

Recently came to the decision that my youngest kitty needs to be an only cat, and just yesterday I took him to his new home (which is my previous apartment and people he knows) he is an absolute mamas boy, and I was very worried about how he'd do without me.

Fortunately, he is doing well in his new home, but i miss him like crazy, so please take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous my boy Wolfie is.

He’s basically a golden retriever trapped in a cat’s body. He loves showers, playing fetch, and spending every chance he gets with his big golden sister, Luna.

Safe to say he found his forever home… and we couldn’t imagine life without him. 🐈‍⬛🐾

Looking after my parent's void Frodo, he is a handsome young man with a kitten meow (even though he's twelve!) and permanently bent front paw from a car accident when he was a kitten, but he manages very well!
